Hailee POV

I didn't think he was such a romantic. In front of me were scattered red rose petals and small candles.

I followed the path he set for me. I reached the stairs and saw beautiful bouquets.

I continued to follow the path to the back yard. When I went outside there were lights everywhere.

Both in the pool and in the trees, I continued along the road until he brought me to the house.

I came closer to see where he was. That's when I saw him, he was in a suit, all neat and well-groomed.

He turned to me and then we looked into each other's eyes.

"My love." he said.

He came and pulled out a chair for me to sit on. When I sat down he poured me wine while music played in the background. Everything was like a dream, I couldn't believe it.

"What is the reason for such an event." I asked him.

"Does girl need a reason to be happy."

"No."

We started eating, I didn't know what to take. Everything smelled so good.

"You have to teach me to cook this well."

"Anything for you, love."

As the evening went by and when we finished eating. He stood up and held out his hand to me.

"Can I ask you for one dance?"

"Of course."

We started dancing, my arms around his neck while his hands were on my hips.

After a few minutes I rested my head on his chest. Listening to his heartbeat, which was racing.

"Why are you nervous?"

"If you were in my place right now, you too would be nervous to dance with such a gorgeous lady."

As soon as he said that, I blushed. Fuck.

"You think I'm gorgeous."

I raised my head, now already looking him in the eyes.

"Of course I think you're gorgeous."

He said looking me in the eyes with a low voice.

We looked into each other's eyes. I didn't want to end this. He looked at me between eyes and lips.

It was as if some force was pulling us towards each other. The moment finally came, we kissed!!! We moved slowly. The kiss was perfect, passionate and lovely at the same time.

"Maybe I have a reason for this...I like you Hailee Steinfeld."

I was shocked and happy, we kissed and he told me he liked me.

"I like you too, Christian Pugh."

He was visibly nervous.

"Do you want to be my girlfriend?" he finally asked.

I couldn't believe it, was this true. I looked at it and didn't believe it.

"Hailee?"

"YES YES YES!!!"

I kissed him again now a little longer.

"May I then ask my girlfriend what she wants to do now."

"Well, your girlfriend wants to cuddle with you."

"Then we will fulfill that wish from my gorgeous girlfriend."

I blushed again, I don't know why I always blush when he compliments me.

We went inside and sat in the living room. We agreed on which movie to watch tonight. We chose to watch the Social Network.

"Let's tell Flo when she calls or when she comes back."

"When she comes back it will be interesting to see her reaction."

"Lord, what a smart girlfriend I have."

I blushed again, I tried to hide it but without success. He pulled my chin with his hand.

"Don't hide it, love. You don't have to hide anything from me. I'm here to help and to listen."

I kissed him passionately and with a lot of love.

He brought dessert that we were supposed to eat there, but he did forget to bring it out.

It was melted chocolate and strawberries.

The movie started and we spent the rest of the evening watching the movie, cuddling until we fell asleep.
