Christian POV

We sat down in the restaurant. We sat at the table, in the corner so that not many people could see us.

A waitress came to take our orders. She turned to Hailee

"What do you want miss?"

"I'll have pancakes."

"Anything to drink?"

"Coffee."

"Of course. And you Sir?" she smiled at me and looked me up and down.

"Same as her." I smiled back.

"It's coming right away." she winked at me and left.

I looked over at Hailee and she looked angry, like she could rip the waitress's head off.

"Are you okay?" I asked her.

"I am, why?"

"It looked like you were going to rip her head off." she rolled her eyes.

Then it dawned on me what was happening. I decided to tease her a bit.

"You know, I see everything, you don't have to lie to me." I said in a joking tone.

"What do you see?"

"That one feeling you have now that makes you look cute when you're angry."

"I don't understand, I'm not angry."

"You keep telling yourself that, but I know what the problem is."

"What's the problem?"

"Okay, then you won't mind this."

"What?" she asked.

The waitress came with our coffees. At that moment an idea came to my mind. She set the coffee down in front of Hailee, turned to me and did the same.

In the tray was a slip of paper with her number. When I saw that, I smiled and winked at her.

When the waitress left, I immediately turned back to look Hailee in the eyes and saw how she was glaring at me, that I was already getting uncomfortable.

"Did you understand what I meant?" I asked her.

"Eat, I have to go, I have a business meeting soon." She said visibly annoyed.

"Okay. But don't worry I have  eyes only for one gorgeous brunette. Who is visibly jealous without reason."

She went to the bathroom when she was done. While she was not there, I paid the bill so that we wouldn't have to wait afterwards.

When she came back I stood up and started to get my things.

"Shall we?"

"Just to pay the bill."

"No need, I already paid."

"You didn't have to for me."

"Never mind, why would you pay when I'm here. How gentleman will I be if I let you pay."

We went to the car, I walked in front of her and opened the door for her. She kissed my cheek and get on her seat. I sat in my seat and started driving.

It seems to me that she was no longer as angry as before, but still a little.

"You won't mind if we stop somewhere for a moment."

"No, feel free."

I had the perfect idea how to apologize to her and tell her about my feelings for her. I went to the store in a hurry and bought everything I needed.

I got back in the car and asked her "Should I drive to that meeting today?"

"No no no it's an online meeting with my manager and a few other people about a tour I want to do."

"So let's go to my place. You can use my laptop and computer in the office. I won't bother you, I'll make lunch in the kitchen during that time or write new songs."

I told her as I pulled into the garage.

I went out before her and opened the door for her. I took my things from the trunk and we headed for the elevator.

"Click 0 first let me drop this off and I'll take you to the office." when I left my things we went up the stairs to the first floor.

I opened the office door for her.

"Here we are in the office. I guess you have everything you need there on the table. I'm going so I won't bother you. I'll call you when lunch is ready. How long will the meeting last?"

"About 3 or 4 hours, why?"

"Nothing just to see if I should put lunch now or a little later. Text me or call me if you need something, love." I said on my way out.

"Chris, wait!"

"Yeah?"

"What do you make for lunch?"

"I dunno. Probably Italian food. Do you have idea?"

"I like Italian food. Can we have spaghetti?"

"Of course, love. Everything for you." I smiled at her and left.
