Christian POV

I opened the cafe door for her, as she entered and passed by me I kissed her on the cheek, she went to her friend and sat down with her. I went where I saw my best friend, Sebastian Stan.

"Hey Seb, anything new?" I asked as I sat in the chair.

"Hey man, nothing with me, I don't have a girlfriend, I'm on vacation, I'm starting to shoot a new movie next month." Sebastian respond.

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"Which movie?"

"Avengers End game."

"That's so cool."

"I know, right. What's new with you, you don't say anything."

"I need to release an album, I have a few more songs to write, then I enter the video recording phase."

"What else, do you have a girlfriend?" Seb asked again.

"I don't have anything for now, I'm trying to finish the album, so then I'll watch something else."

I lied to him, I had to fuck it, I haven't talked to Hailee yet about whether we're going to tell me about our relationship.

"But Christian, my best friend, my brother..."

"Ask what you want Sebastian."

I know he wants to ask something when this starts the sentence.

"How is Florence? I heard she broke up with that man."

"Seb, now I'm going to ask you, answer me honestly."

"Okay."

"Do you like Flo?"

"What...no no? Okay, yeah."

"I knew."

"How?"

"I see how you look at her when she's with us. When her name is mentioned. You keep asking how she is, what she's doing, is she okay."

"Do you think she like me?"

"I don't know, I never talked to her about you."

We talked like that for another hour or so, it was time to part. We paid bill and say goodbye.

"You go, I have to go pick up some things."

"See you Chris."

"Bye, I'll call you when I can."

I waited for him to leave, I got up from the table and went to Hailee. I sat on the chair next to her, and took her hand under the table.

"Hi, I'm Christian."

"Hi Christian, I'm Taylor."

We shook hands and returned to our seats, I took Hailee's hand in mine again and I ordered myself a coffee.

"And Hailee you didn't tell me how you met."

"Well, that was as soon as I got to Florence's place, I went to the toilet to freshen up from the trip, when I came back he was standing in the kitchen with Flo. So, technically, Flo was the reason of our friendship."

"That's really nice. Hailee, do you have a boyfriend?"

"No." She answered her but she was very nervous and I felt it, so I squeezed her hand to let her know I was there for her.

"I thought if you don't have it, I'd introduce you to my friend who really like you."

"No thanks. "

"I didn't ask you what Christian was doing here."

"He keeps me company in London."

"You could have asked me and I would have kept you company."

"Sorry, Tay but Florence called me here. Then she have to left for movie so Chris is with me."

I smiled and scratched her hand under the table. Taylor got a call, put money on the table and left. Now we were left alone, I looked at her with admiration in my eyes, because there is no other way.

"I'm your friend, love. What a pity and I wanted to cuddle with you at home."

"What should I have told her that you are my boyfriend? We didn't even talk about it."

"I know, I said the same about you when Sebastian asked me."

"So there is cuddling at home."

"How can I say no to this beauty? But first I need to go get some clothes, do you want to come with me?" I asked her.

"Of course, where else would I be but with my boyfriend." I smiled at her and stood up.

"Just wait until I pay the bill."

She said and turned to see where the waiter was. I raised my hand and he immediately came, Hailee reached for her purse to take the money but I preempted her and pulled out £50 from my pocket.

"Keep the change, boy."

"Thank you, sir."

He left with a smile on his face. I looked over at Hailee and she almost killed me with look.

"You said next time I'll pay and now you paid again."

"Love, sorry I forgot, what can I do to cheer you up." I asked her and sat next to her taking her hands in mine.

"Let me pay you now for the clothes you choose."

"I screwed up, I shouldn't have asked that." I mumbled looking down at the floor.

"You can pick out things for me and I will pay."

I proposed in the hope that she would accept the proposal, because it would be stupid of me if she were to pay me and spend herself next to me alive.

"Okay."

She accepted that, thank GOD.
