The Next Chapter

Chapter ~ 3

(Kelly's POV)

I brought the girls in to the briefing room and sit them down. " Girls I have to tell you something and its ok to feel mad or sad ok." when I said that Jalay's face dropped. " So, mommy had to go and be with your daddy ok, but she will always be with you in your hearts ok." both of them were crying at this point all that I wanted to do was make it all better and we just sat there on the floor of the briefing room and they hugged me, and I just had this feeling in my gut that we had to adopt these little girls. they both eventually fell asleep in my arms of the briefing room floor I waved stella in to help me get both of them to my quarters. we lay them down and shut the door. 

" Hey, can I ask you something kind of crazy." she asks me "um sheer" I say not sheer ware she was going with this. " How would you feel if we adopted those two little girls." she says, and my eyes started to water. "really" I ask her "really" she says. after a little of watching the girls, we go back out to the common room. and there's a latte. 

"Are you Mr. Severide" the women askes me. " Yes, what's this about." I ask super confused. "I'm Jalay and Julia's aunt can we maybe take some ware more privet." the women says, and we go into the briefing room.

" The girls are sleeping right now" I tell her. " Um this might sound crazy you just met me, and I totally understand if you don't want to but I'm 22 and I'm not ready to take the girls in I was hoping that maybe you would adopt them"! when she says that I knew the answer right away. "YES, me and my wife was just taking about it"! she looked shocked but really existed for the girls." thank you thank you thank you thank you for this we will stay in touch for all of the legal things." I node and she leave. 

i go back to the common room "stella come her" I say I whisper into her ear " we got the girls." I tell her and she looked at me like I was crazy. "You better not be joking." she says "no no I'm not." I say everyone I so confused. "What is going on." Herman asks, " were adopting the twins." I speak. "What really" Cruz says.  

"what's going on" Jalay says walking around the corner half asleep. "Hey honey how was your nap." I ask her "ok" I pick her up and she lays her little head on my shoulder, and I could fell that stella was just staring at me. we go back to my quarters so we can take to the girls. 

"Hey girls do you think you guys would like to come home with us." stella asks the girls. "Like forever?" Jalay asks " i mean if its ok with you guys ya" I say. they look at each other and nod at each other. "YES!!!!" both of the girls say.  and we just sit in my quarters with are new little family that I am completely in love with.  

"Kelly um I'm pregnant." stella. says "what" I say " the teats the other day was wrong." she says with tears in her eyes " this is one of the best days of my life?" I say not really thinking.
