Chapter 13

(Kelly POV)

it been 5 hours since we got to med and its go time one of the babies are in a breech position so we have decided for the safety of everyone that we will be doing a C-section "you ready" I ask stella, but I can tell she is nerves. "I'm so excited, but I'm also really nervous." she tells me that, and I knew exactly what she needed, "Hey, you got this Stella Severide, " I tell her and give her a kiss. 

"I like the sound of that," she says. April wakes in "ok so it's almost go time, so Kelly, can you put this on?" She asks me. I nod my head and put it on when I have it on stella starts laughing at me "what." I ask her, "you pull, turn out gear ten times better than that, " she tells me, and I playfully roll my eyes at her. 

a little while later, a nurse comes in and gets us, and we go into a OR and in less than 20 minutes, one of the babies was born, and we heard the most beautiful cry in the world. "Baby A is here," the doctor says, and within 2 minutes we here. "Baby boy is here." I look at stella and giggle, "did you say, boy? " Stella asks "yes I did." 

"Hey, Daddy, we are going to take them up to the NICU just to get checked out. Do you want to come with us?" One of the nurses asks me I to look at stella "go I'll be good go." i go up with the twins. 

1 hour later we are in a room both babies are healthy. "So, they kind of need names." stella asks me," Ya they do. Do you have any ideas." I ask, holding baby girl, "Bentley Wallace Severide." she says, "I love that " "Do you have any ideas for baby girl?" she asks, " Leslie Elizabeth Severide, we can call her shay." stella looks at me and smiles. "Ok then, Bentley and Shay Severide." she says I sit down next to her.

April comes in, "I have a waiting room full of 51, and the twins are you guys up for visitors, or how do we want to do this?" She asks us.

"It's up to you, babe," I tell her. "Why don't we just have Boden, Donna, Herman, Cindy, and the twins?" she says, "ok I'll go and get them."

5 minutes later we hear the door open, and they all come in. "there's my girls." I say and they come in and i give them a big hug "are baby sisters here daddy" Julia asks me "yes they are but we have a surprise for you guys." I tell them and Jalay is really confused "what is it" she asks us "what if i tell you that when they told us the babies were both girls, they were wrong" I tell them and I can tell that they were confused.

"Daddy what do you mean wrong how did they get it rung?" Jalay asks me "well I would like you guys to meet your baby brother" I tell them and their faces lite up like I just told them they could have 50 toys "what's his name." Julia asks me and I look at stella.

"Bentley Wallace Severide" Stella says, and I look up at chief "really that's his name you guys...." "Yes, we did." Stella says. "And how is this?" Donna asks knowing her husband didn't like all the attention on him, now looking at Shay "that's Leslie Elizadeth Severide were calling her Shay." I tell them "YES" Herman says a little to load "CHISTOFER! there's babies in the room." Cindy scolds him "let me guesses you guys put bets on their names." Stella asks them "maybe" I roll my eyes "mommy can I hold one of them." Jalay asks "of course" Stella says "why don't you sit by mom." "OK" both girls go and sit next to Stella.

"Why don't we take a quit pitcher of them holding them I need to get up anyway." Stella said, "are you sheer" I was not sheer if she was supposed to "Kelly trust me that's the best thing she could do right now." Cindy said I mean she's like the experts of experts of these things so i trusted her and we got the girls set up.

we get a cute photo and April comes in "So those guys out there are getting antsy and want to meet them and it's all up to." She asks, "can you see if aware moms are out there." she nods and goes out to the waiting room.

{Aprils POV}

i go out to the waiting room and see Jenifer and another woman that I did not recognize "hey, Jennifer, do you know which one is Stellas Mom?" I ask and the women next to Jennier "oh honey that's me" she says in one of the softest and genteel voices. "Oh, I'm so sorry." I apologize "oh honey its ok." she says "Are you ready to meet your newest grandchildren." they both nod and we go back to the room.

{Stellas POV}

Today has been one of the best days ever and I'm so excited for my mom and Kellys mom to meet them but I think they might be the last ones that come into the room today, but I might have Kelly and chief take them out to see 51 so I can post the cuties pitcher of the 4 kids on Instagram.  

There was a knock on the door. and the two moms wake in "Grandmas" both the girls say knowing to stay quit. "Hay girls why don't we let them come into the room before we bombard them, please."  I say and the girls come and sit by me again.

"How are you doing mama" my mom asks me "sore but nothing that I didn't expect" I say "Ya, so where are through's baby's?" Jenifer asks. "There over by Kelly" Kelly was over by the couch, "hey Kells do you mauby want to share the twins?" I asked his head shout up "hu." and we all giggle "oh I'm sorry, hi mom and hello Lauren." over the last serval months Kelly and the girls become really close with my mom. And me and her have been working on are relationship also.

"What are their names?" Jennifer asks. "So funny thing is that there boy girl twins" Kelly says and they giggle "so do they have names." Jenifer says trying to get to the point. "Yes, mom they do, and I let Stella tell you." he says and I playfully role my eyes at him.

"Well since he's being stubborn this is your grandson, and his name is Bentley Wallace Severide" i say and Jennifer looks at Kelly with tears in her eyes. "Oh, honey you didn't have to do that." she says and now I'm confused why Jennifer is so emotional over the name that I picked and why she thinks Kelly picked it "Mom, actually Stella picked the name." he says "I'm a little confused here I picked the name because I just thought the name fitted him and it was cut." I say "oh honey I'm sorry I can't believe someone hasn't told you this story so when Kelly was 3 or 4... Benny was over at station 92 as a lutenist and Wallace was at that station as the Truck Caption at the time and Kelly would fallow Benny around that firehouse like he was a lost puppy, so Wallace had had nicknamed him Bentley because it sounded like Benny, so you gave him name with one hug meaning without you even knowing." she says and me her and Kelly are in tears.

"Stella I'm sorry I didn't tell you." she says, "no its ok" and I now my mom wants to say something "mom did you want to sheer something" I ask "oh no this is your guy's moment" she says "nonsense I know you have to get a cute nick name for Stella." Kelly says, "ya when she was young i would always call her Stella Bella" and when my mom said that I could see Kellys eyes shout over to me. My eyes start to tear up and my breathing gets shaky.

"Look at me he's not here babe you're ok" he says, and I know my mom is confused. Kelly gets me calmed down "Stella I'm sorry I didn't think that was going to upset you" I cut my mom off "Mom it's not your flat that's one of names my ex gave me." I say and my mom as this 'I'm sorry look' "ok who wants to know this angle name." I say and the mood of the hole room flips back to happy.

"absolutely" they say, "Kelly" I say, and he nods "This is Lesley Elisabeth Severide, but we are calling her Shay." we all smile, and they hang out a little and then they leave. 

"Kelly, I think I might just have you and Boden take them out to meat 51 I'm kind of just pooped." I tell him. "We can just wait I want you to be there with me." Kelly says, " do you think they are going to wait any longer." I speak. "Why don't we take you out in a wheelchair so they can meet them with you there.
