Chapter~6

(At Hermans house with the girls)

"We should play tag." Jalay says "ya but I'm it." Julia says and they are running around the kitchen when Jalay runs into the corner of the countertop. and it she passes out "what's going on in here omg." Cindy says coming around the corner. "Hay Julia go sit on the couch ok" Cindy tells her but Julia does not want to go so Cindy calls 911.

(Back at the fire house) 

"Chief if it's one of the girls they are not going to want to go to med so is it ok if me and Kelly go with" stella asks "ya go go" he says so Kelly and stella go to the ambo stella is a little worried the pull up and stella runs right inside. "Cindy girls" she calls out "were in the kitchen stella" Cindy says.

(Stella POV)

I came around the corner and saw that Jalay had a purity good cut on her forehead "honey what happened" I ask Jalay and she starts crying and then Brett comes around the corner with Kelly and Jalay is very much a daddy's girl and I knew in this moment that Kelly is how she needed. "Hey Jalay honey is it ok if we put this banded on your bobo." Brett askes Jalay and she nodded her head with a death grip on Kelly's hand. "Kelly can you care8y her out to the ambo" Brett askes and Jalay knew what that meant we had to go to med. "no no I don't want to go" Jalay cry's and I know she does not want to go but her cut is deep and she's going to need stiches. 

"Hey baby me and mommy are going to be there the hole time ok." Kelly tells Jalay and she nods her head, and we get to med, and I can tell Jalay is so nerves. we get to med, and I am so thankful that are nurse was April. "Jalay what did you do honey" April asks us Kelly is sitting on the gurney with her. "The girls were running in the kitchen at Hermans house, and she ran in to the corner and cut her head purity good." Kelly tells April.

"Ok sweaty can I see your owie" April asks I wake over to see how deep the cut was and I knew it needed stiches. "Ok I'm going to go and get Dr. Halsted" April says and then comes back with Will. they come back and I knew what Will was going to say, "ok unfortunately Shes going to need stitches." Will and I eminently saw tears in Jalay's eyes "no no can't we just put a band aid on it" Jalay cries.

"Hey Jalay look at me baby." I say she turns her head and looks at me "it's going to be ok me and dad are right here, and do you want to know something funny you and daddy are going to have marching scares." I tell her "Really" she asks and Kelly points to his scare on his forehead and Jalay giggles a little. "I'm going to get plastics to come and stich her up." Will tells us and leaves.

"Mommy I'm scared." Jalay tells me and I didn't rely now what to do so I gave her the biggest hugs and one thing we have learned about Jalay is that she absolutely loves hugs. there was a knock at the door it was Kiely and Boden they brought Jalay a little Elefant from the gift shop. "I saw this and I knew I had to get this for you" Kiley tells Jalay and the twines and Kiley have become really close in the last 3 weeks and I absolutely love that they even helped me with a girl on fire section the other day and they loved it, and all the girls love them. "Thank you, Kiley." Jalay says hugging the Elefant. "Your welcome J.J" Kiley tells Jalay that's the girls nickname for Jalay.

April wakes in "hey I like the Elefant what's its name." April asks "I'm not sheer yet" Jalay says.  "Ok well if its ok with you I'm going to put this cream on your cut its going to make it, so you don't fell it ok." she ask Jalay kind of just nodded her head and she reached out for my hand, and I grab it and give it a big squeeze. we whited for about 30 minuets. then plastics came in.

Jalay stared to freak out a little and Kelly wiped into her ear "you got this Jalay Severeid." and that moment was so special because Jalay calmed down immediately after that and 5 mints later "you're all set to go there is 15 stiches in her forehead so no running for the next 48 hours." the doctor says.

we headed home but first we stopped at the academy because Kelly had to do something, so we all went in, and Jalay was just staring at the bag wall. "Mommy what's this." Jalay asks me and I look at Kelly "um so sometimes people on the job that me and daddy do people can get hurt and sometimes they can go up to heaven and we like to put there bag up on a wall to remember them." I tell her "Ok" she says, and we go and get Julia from Cindy and we all head home have some craft mac& cheese and watch Playing with Fire one of the girl's favorite movies.
