"Kaien" Jasmine asked getting the tall mans attention, he turned around and instantly had a smile on his face when he saw Jasmine, his jet black hair swaying in the wind. "There she is" he said walking over and hugging her with so much love in his heart, "how's my beautiful wife?" he asked kissing her, "I have your new recruit, this is Rukia, also my little sister now" Jasmine said holding her arm out to Rukia, "it's very nice to meet you Captain Shiba, I look forward to being in your squad" Rukia said bowing to him, "pleasure is mine Rukia, after all we are family now" Kaien said to her and Rukia couldn't help but smile. "Ok I will leave you to it, I have to go see Byakuya" Jasmine said but Kaien stopped her walking away and brought her into a kiss, "I'll see you at home" he said looking into her ocean blue eyes, "I love you" he said, "I love you too" Jasmine said pecking him on the lips and leaving. 

Jasmine had arrived at her Brother's home and walked inside, "do you ever knock?" he asked annoyed, "nope" she said and sat down next to him where he was drinking tea and writing, "how is she doing?" he asked, "you would know if you went to see her" Jasmine asked pouring herself a cup and taking a sip, "I have asked Kaien to tell her report to me before she goes to sleep at night" Byakuya said, "why?" Jasmine asked, "if she is to be a Kuchiki, she is to live up to the family name as we all have to" Byakuya said, "Byakuya we have had years to do that, she has been here for two seconds give her a break, I know Kaien will train her correctly" Jasmine said to him, "she is still to report to me, that's final" he said and Jasmine gave up trying. "You should really give her a chance, she's a lovely girl" Jasmine said and Byakuya said nothing. 

"Have you thought anymore about what the Head Captain has asked you" Byakuya said, "no I haven't, and I think I'm going to turn it down anyway" Jasmine said, "and why's that" he asked, "I just don't want to live in the world of the living, my life is here, with Kaien, with my squad, and you" she said, "I'm sure he can find someone else to station in the world of the living" she finished, "I see" Byakuya said. "Is this really the right thing to do?" he asked, "I'm asking because you are the only one that's not afraid to tell me the truth" Byakuya asked looking into her eyes, "yes Brother, we are doing what she asked before she died, and we will love and protect her, she is our sister now" she said putting a hand on his arm, and he put his hand on hers. "Now then, I'm going to go home and prepare mine and Kaien's meal for when he comes home, and you mister, finish with your paper work and get some sleep" Jasmine said and walked out.

 Jasmine was at home finishing up food, then Kaien walked in with Rukia, "Jasmine, I've told Rukia to join us" Kaien said, "of course, I've made plenty, sit down Rukia" Jasmine said putting the food on the table, "it smells wonderful Jasmine" Rukia said, "thank you" Jasmine said sitting down next to her husband, Kaien wrapped an arm around her and kissed her head, "I married one hell of a cook didn't I Rukia" he said laughing and Rukia joined in. "And a bad ass Soul Reaper" he finished, "eat your food" Jasmine laughed shoving him, "so Rukia, I hope my husband treated you well" Jasmine asked her, "yes he did, very well" Rukia said taking a bite of her food, "is it true Byakuya wants me to report to him every night?" Rukia asked as if she was nervous, "yes but don't worry, if he gives you a hard time just tell me and leave him to me" Jasmine said pointing her chop sticks at Rukia, "I wouldn't want you to fall out with him" Rukia said, "don't worry about that" Jasmine said, "Captain Kuchiki?" she herd someone say outside her door, "come in dear" she said and the door slid opened to find one of her squad members kneeling on the floor, "I'm sorry for interrupting, but I need to speak with you privately," he asked, "I'm coming" she said standing up and going outside, "won't be minute" she said to Rukia and Kaien before shutting the door. "You know, if that was any other Captain, they would have been toast for disturbing them from eating" Kaien said to Rukia, "she is very kind" Rukia said. 

"It's one of the reasons I fell in love with her" Kaien said smiling to himself, "how did you meet her Captain, if you don't mind me asking?" Rukia asked, "we met in the world of the living, we were put on the same mission by accident, but I couldn't bring myself to change where I was stationed, she was just so beautiful and kind, we met by a lake after she had killed a hollow, I thought she needed help so I ran over, turns out she killed it just fine, and when our eyes met, it was like I was in a trance, they were just so blue and beautiful, and her hair caught my eye the most because it was so ginger, I didn't even know she was the twin sister of Byakuya until she told me" Kaien laughed, "we forgot about why we were there in the first place because we had been talking for so long, we were sitting on the grass by the lake, watching the sun set, and I looked at her, she just looked so angelic that I just couldn't look away" he said and Rukia could feel her heart melt at the story. "That lake is very special to us, it's where we first met, couple of months later it's where we shared our first kiss, and about 2 years later, it's where I asked her to marry me" he said, "wow, how beautiful" Rukia said, "I feel like the luckiest guy in the world," he said and Jasmine walked back inside and sat down, "everything ok?" he asked, "yeah he was asking if he could train extra tomorrow" Jasmine said smiling, "I better get going, I need to report to Byakuya" Rukia said standing up, Jasmine stood up as well and hugged her, Rukia hugged back feeling loved, "welcome to the family" Jasmine said to her, and Rukia hugged her tighter, she then let go and left. 

Kaien stood up and wrapped his arms around Jasmine from behind, "I was telling her about how we met" Kaien whispered into her ear, "you love telling people that story" Jasmine giggled at him, "no I love telling people how I fell in love with the most beautiful girl I have ever seen" he said turning her around and putting a hand on her cheek, "I love you so much Jasmine" he said leaning down and giving her a passionate kiss, "I love you too" she said kissing him again, "how about we take this into the bedroom" he said kissing her neck, she moaned and he took that as a yes, he picked her up bridal style and took her into the bedroom, where he showed her just how much he loved her.
