Part 15

Jasmine made her way to Rukia's cell but was stopped by one of the guards, "stop right there, Captain Kuchiki has requested no one is to see the prisoner" he said, "get out my way I'm her sister" Jasmine said trying to get past, but he wouldn't move, so Jasmine pushed him aside, but a little bit too hard as he slammed against the wall cracking it. Jasmine walked past with not a care in the world and walked up to the cell, where she saw Rukia sitting on a chair in the middle of the room, "Rukia" Jasmine said getting her attention, she turned around and she gave Jasmine a smile as she walked up to the bars, "are you ok, did Byakuya hurt you" Jasmine asked holding the bars, "no, but he hurt Ichigo, I don't even know how he is" Rukia said looking down, "hey don't worry, I'm sure he will be fine, he's strong Rukia" Jasmine said trying to make her feel better, but on the inside Jasmine was hurting, hurting at the thought of Ichigo being injured. "He's heartbroken Jasmine" Rukia said to her, and Jasmine felt a tear in her eye, "it's better this way, he'll move on, but right now I need to get you out of here, just hang tight and give me time" Jasmine said to her, "Jasmine I don't think he will move on, he was devastated, he wouldn't let go of your gigai, Kisuke had to pry him away and take it" Rukia explained, "and I feel awful, but the way I left was out of my hand, and you can blame our brother for that" Jasmine said as a tear fell, "I need to go, but I will be back, I just need to find out what is going on, because there is no reason why you should be in here Rukia, and I will get to the bottom of it" Jasmine said bidding her goodbye and leaving. 

The next few days Jasmine had found out nothing, she had been to everyone who could give her answers but she got nothing, and she was starting to panic as she was running out of time. Currently she was standing by the bars talking with Rukia, until Byakuya walked in, and he didn't bring good news, "Rukia, it has been decided, 25 days from now, you will go to the central execution grounds, where you will suffer the ultimate punishment, that is the final decision of the Soul Society, and this will be the last time you and I will ever exchange words" he said, and then left, but not before Jasmine stopped him, "brother this is madness, you have to do something to change their minds, she did it so Ichigo could live and save his family, you have to understand that" Jasmine said grabbing his arm, but all he did was stare at his sister, but he shook her off and carried on walked, with Jasmine following, "brother please" she begged, he stopped and listened, "you have to think this is wrong too, something is wrong with the whole situation" she tried to explain, but he kept quiet and walked away, "dam it" Jasmine growled to herself. 

Jasmine was in her home going over paper work she found on the case to see if she could find a loop hole into freeing Rukia, that's when Jushiro came in. "Captain have you slept at all," he said sitting down, "no I haven't" she said rubbing her face, "Jasmine you need to stop this, because me and Shunsui have a plan" he said taking the papers, "will it help Rukia?" Jasmine said eyes filling with hope, "we hope so, but you can't know about it until the time is right, understood?" he said and Jasmine nodded. 'Attention, red alert, red alert, Intruders detected in West Rukon' they both herd an announcement say, "what?" Jasmine said confused, "come on, we know the drill" Jasmine said as she made her way over where she needs to be stationed. Jasmine waited for her orders for a while, but she herd nothing, she was currently standing on the other side of a huge wall, separating the Seireitei from the outsiders, that's when she herd a commotion from the other side, it sounded like Jidanbo was dealing with the intruders, and Jasmine would stop them if they got through him. "Well well, this is a surprise, I guess we are stationed together" she herd Gin say walking up to up, "I didn't think I would need anyone" Jasmine said to him, "hurtful much" he said faking being offended. "Sounds like they are having fun doesn't it?" he said grinning, "I guess so" Jasmine said wanting this to end, but suddenly the commotion stopped and the gate was being lifted, "dam" Jasmine said putting her hood up. 

But it was Jidanbo that opened the gate, and he stared down at Jasmine and Gin in fear, but Jasmine looked behind the huge man, and saw it was Ichigo, Orihime, Chad and someone she did not recognize. "Oh no" Jasmine whispered to herself, what was he doing here, he could be killed. "Wait it's you, The Red Reaper" Ichigo said looking straight towards Jasmine, "hey let us through, you know me, I'm here to save Rukia" he explained, and Jasmine panicked even more, "oh, not good" Gin said smirking, making Jasmine angry, "I wouldn't fight these two" Jidanbo said shaking, "he is Gin Ichimaru, Captain of squad 3, and the lady is Captain of Squad 1" he explained making Ichigo study them both, that's when Gin made a flash step and cut Jidanbo's arm, making him kneel to the floor still holding the gate up, "Jidanbo no!" Ichigo yelled, "leave now" Jasmine said, and Ichigo felt like he knew that voice, "wait, your voice, I've herd it before" Ichigo said taking a step closer, "let's finish this" Gin said about to strike and go for Ichigo, but Jasmine wasn't going to let him get hurt, so she transformed her Zanpakuto into a spear and aimed in at Jidanbo, it lunged him back making him let go off the gate, Jasmine knew the blow would hurt him and she felt guilty, but she knew he would live, and Ichigo and his friends would be safe on the other side. "My my, that was unexpected, you should have let me kill him" Gin said grinning, Jasmine didn't say anything and walked away. 

Jasmine was walking the grounds when she was interrupted by Aizen, "hello Jasmine" he said bowing his head to her, "hello Aizen, you need anything?" she asked him, but he wore a sad look on his face as he looked down to her, "I'm afraid I have some bad news, Rukia's execution has been moved, it's less than 14 days from now" he said, and Jasmine's chest went tight, "what, how has this happened?" she asked panicking,  "I don't know Jasmine, but if you need anything, I'm right here for you" he said putting a hand on her shoulder, "I have to get her out, this is wrong" she said as she was getting more upset, "she is being transferred to the repentance cell as we speak" Aizen said squeezing her shoulder, "thank you for telling me Aizen" Jasmine said about to walk away, but he stopped her, "are you ok?" she asked him, before she could answer him, there was a huge explosion in the sky, they both looked up and saw multiple rays off light landing in different spots of the Seireitei, "they got in" Jasmine whispered to herself, unaware that Aizen herd her. 

Jasmine knew Ichigo is going to try and save Rukia, but she couldn't let him get killed, he didn't know the power the Captains have, and he could not be strong enough, she had to help him, but she also had to keep herself hidden from him, if he knew she was alive, it could distract him and get himself killed.
