Part 19

Healers were running around trying to help the injured, Orihime was trying to heal Ichigo, but he was trying to get to Jasmine, who was on her knees with a blank expression on her face, the same one she wore when he first met her. "No, I won't let her break, not again" Ichigo whispered but his friends herd him. "Miss Kuchiki, please we need to heal you, you have lost a lot of blood" someone said trying to help her, but she wouldn't move. "Jasmine" Byakuya breathed out trying to reach a hand out towards his sister, Jasmine made eye contact with him, "let them heal you, that's an order" he said, Jasmine nodded and walked away with the healers. 

Orihime had finished healing Ichigo and he instantly went to find Jasmine, and when he did his heart broke, she was sitting there with dried tears on her face, and she was staring blankly at the ground, Ichigo walked up to her knelt to her eye level, "Jasmine," he said putting a hand on her cheek, "why," she whispered, "why is this happening, he made me kill my husband, he wanted me to kill him, so he could force me to be his, and he made me into a monster" she said as fresh tears fell down her cheek, but before Ichigo could say anything, Kukaku came up to her, "you didn't kill him" she said and Jasmine looked up at her shocked, "I never once thought you killed him Jasmine" she said and knelt down to, "but I thought you hated me" Jasmine said, "my idiot brother was angry, but he didn't hate you, neither did I" Kukaku explained, "how can I be angry at the women who saved him from being consumed by a hollow," she said giving her a warm smile, "I only wished you would have come to see us so we could have mourned together, but your Brother told me what happened, my brother didn't want to believe it, but I understood, which is why I'm not angry, anyway Kaien wouldn't forgive me if I blamed his wife would he?" she said and patted her shoulder and walked away. 

"See? How can anyone hate you for your bravery," Ichigo said stroking her cheek, "but what about Aizen, I remember what he did to me, he is evil, and he wants me, I'm not safe anymore while he is up there planning what ever he is going to do" Jasmine said panicking, "hey, calm down, you are the strongest women I have ever known, hollows fear you, everyone in this place is probably to scared to fight you, even your own brother stood down from you but I know they would do anything to protect you, Aizen will not get you, and I will protect you with everything I have, I promise" he said looking into her blue eyes, and she nodded, "I'm only this strong because of him, I'm a monster" Jasmine said, "you are far from a monster, your this strong because of your strong heart, and the love you have for others, you could have used this strength and power to become evil like him, but instead you use it to protect your loved ones, you have protected all of us so far, so let us protect you, let me protect you, because I love you" he said, Jasmine couldn't help but burst into tears, Ichigo pulled her to him and hugged her, letting her get out all of the built up emotions she was holding in. 

"Captain Kuchiki" they herd someone say behind them, "yes?" Jasmine said standing up with Ichigo holding her close, "it's your brother, he would like to speak with you" they said, Jasmine nodded and walked over to him with Ichigo behind her, "Jasmine" he said holding his hand out, "Jasmine knelt down and took his hand in hers, "I'm here brother, rest now" she said stroking her thumb on his hand, "I told her, Rukia, I told her the truth" he said, Jasmine smiled and held his hand tighter, "good, I'm glad you did" she said, but Byakuya wasn't done, "I'm sorry, for everything you have been through, I should have stayed by your side after Kaien, but instead I was too focused on my duties, that I didn't know how much you were breaking, and then when you left I panicked, I thought I lost you, I have protected you since we were children, and I failed the one time you needed me most, and for that I'm sorry" he said, Jasmine leaned down and kissed his forehead, "I forgive you Byakuya, I do" she said to him, "Ichigo" he said making him kneel down as well, "I want you to take Jasmine back with you, it's too dangerous for her to be here, we don't know how many spy's Aizen has, she is safe with you, and I need you to protect her with your life, I need your word" he begged, "I promise, nothing will hurt her as long as I am around, I'll love and protect your sister, you have my word" Ichigo said sternly to him, Byakuya was then taken to the infirmary where he could rest. 

Jasmine was waiting at the portal to leave with her friends, but she was waiting for Rukia thinking she was going with them, but when she saw her walk up to them, she knew Rukia had different plans, "your not coming are you?" Jasmine asked her sister, "there are things I need to do here, maybe I'll come soon, just not at the moment" Rukia said, Jasmine walked up to her and hugged her, "I know I haven't been the best sister, but you have, I'm so grateful to have you as family" Jasmine said and Rukia hugged her back, Ichigo watched the sisters with a smile on his face, but the portal was opening and they had to leave soon, "you come visit anytime" Jasmine said letting go, and Rukia smiled and nodded. Jasmine walked up to the others but Ichigo stopped her, "I need to ask you something?" he said, Jasmine looking into his eyes waiting for him to continue, "I want you to come live with me?" he asked, and Jasmine was shocked, "but what about Orihime?" Jasmine asked looking at her, "I've already kicked you out" Orihime joked making Jasmine giggle, "I want you to feel safe and protected, and it would put my mind at ease knowing your at my side, I love you so much and I'm going to do anything to protect you, please come live me," Ichigo said placing a hand on her cheek, "as long as your family is ok with it" Jasmine said leaning her head into his hand, "oh they will be, but you will have to put up with the excitement of me having a girlfriend," he said smiling making Jasmine giggle, "I'm sure I'll cope" she said leaning up and kissing him. 

Jasmine's life had changed now, yes she was in danger because of Aizen, but she knew she has friends and family to protect her, especially Ichigo, who she was madly in love with and couldn't be happier.
