Sophie woke up that morning to a hail from councilor Oralie. She answered and turned her projection off, the last thing she needed was he perfect little mother criticizing her on her messy hair. "Hello Sophie, Is Keefe there?" Oralie asked. "Yeah but he's sleeping." Sophie said unenthusiastically. "You two are invited to the seat of eminence at 12:00 today to become official emissaries." Oralie said smiling. "Wow! We'll definitely be there, you don't happen to have any extra of those air stabilizers that the councilors have, do you?" Sophie said. "Actually we had some made, I will see you at noon, don't be late." Oralie said. Sophie ended the hail and shook Keefe's shoulder "Keefe, wake up, we're finally becoming emissaries!" Sophie said excitedly. "I'm up! No way, it took them long enough." Keefe said— suddenly wide awake. "Yeah I'm gonna get ready and run the twins over to Havenfield, do you wanna come with?" Sophie said. "Yeah I wanna tell Grady that we're finally joining him." Keefe said. Sophie put on a lacy red tunic, black leggings, high black boots, and her White Regent cape. Keefe put on a white undershirt, a red jerkin, black dress pants, high black boots, and his white regent cape.

Sophie then went down stairs and dressed the twins in matching red outfits.

Sophie picked up Steven and Keefe picked up Katlyn, he took her hand and they leaped to Havenfield. "Hey Soph, hey Keefe." Edaline said from Verdi's enclosure. "Hi mom, we're going to get certified as emissaries today, so we wanted to tell you guys and ask if you could watch the twins." Sophie said. "I'm so happy for you guys, and of course we'll watch the twins they're little angels." Edaline said smiling. "Thanks Edaline." Keefe said politely. Then they walked inside to find Grady— he was in the dining room eating breakfast when they walked in and said "we're gettting certified as emissaries today!" Sophie said. "And you know what that means? We'll be in Ravagog with you and Lord grumpypants!" Keefe said. "Wow guys, that's amazing." Grady said smiling. "Well— we gotta go, have fun today with Daddy dearest." Keefe said on the way out. "Oh don't worry, I will." Grady muttered.
