Searching chapter 28

Sophie woke up feeling cold that morning in her big old Havenfield bedroom, there were no arms around her and she HATED it. She got up out of bed and when she went to take off her underpants they were soaked through. Finally, she thought. She went downstairs to find Edaline feeding the twins, "Hey mom, I think I'm in labor." Sophie said. "That's great honey, we'll go to the healing center now." Edaline said, grinning. Edaline quickly took Sophie, leaving the twins home, then she went back and told everyone. Once again, when Sophie got to the healing center Elwin was ready. "Hi Soph, I'm so sorry about Keefe but at least you'll be able to look for him soon." Elwin said, frowning. "Yeah that's a little bit of a relief." Sophie said. "Well you know the drill, lay down." Elwin said. Sophie laid down on the bed and had a smooth delivery, after everything was in place and she was rested up she went out to look for Keefe. First she took Tam to the silver tower to go through the Lodestar mirror, then they checked every single warehouse, then they checked the old storehouse, nothing. She sent Tam home and told him she'd still keep searching. "Are you sure?" Tam asked. "Yeah, go make sure Marella knows your okay." Sophie said. "Okay, good luck." Tam said as he glittered away to he and marellas new estate, Shadowblaze. Sophie,  for the 15th time tried, telepathically communicating with keefe, no luck. Lady Gisela must have had a thinking cap on him. She searched and searched like that for weeks and weeks with the help of the black swan and council and still, no sign of Keefe. It was now March 30 and she was starting to lose hope. She reached out to him telepathically like she did every day but this time she heard a voice "Foster? Please help. Shes trying to finish Stellarlune. I don't know where I am but I'm near water. Have Linh help. I can't stay long she, she, got Gethen out of his prison and she put a projection in. He's probing my mind everyday please Foster help." Keefe's voice said. "Okay, I Will find you Keefe just hang on a little longer." Sophie transmitted. Then his voice faded away. Sophie immediately hailed Linh. "Linh, keefe says he's near water I need you to help me find him, please." Sophie said. "Of course, Sophie. I'll come as soon as I can." Linh's projection said. "Thank you." A few minutes later Linh appeared in the front of Havenfield and walked up to Sophie. They walked up to the panakes tree and Linh immediately started letting the water call to her. "He's somewhere in the Forbidden cities. There's a massive lake. It says Lake Erie on a sign." Linh said. "Canada. Okay Keefe's by Erie, we'll find him." Sophie said, gaining more hope. She hailed Mr. Forkle and he immediately sent all his men out and in his office he programmed the map to look for Keefe in Canada. Sophie used her blue crystal to leap to Canada and started searching around Lake Erie. She tracked Keefe's thoughts to a deep cave, just wonderful, a cave. She went in after telling Mr. Forkle where she was and wished she had Marella there to light up the path. She was about 300 feet deep when she found a wall. She ran her hand on the wall and just as she thought it was an illusion. She walked through and found a flight of stairs. She took them up and about 2000 stairs later she reached the warehouse. She turned on her obscurer and went in, she wasn't sure it got worse than the Nightfall facility so that was good. She walked down a long white marble hall to find about 30 doors, she started to check them and at the 18th one she found Lady Gisela in a room with Keefe, he was tied up and gagged and she was arranging some Elysian rocks around him. She then quietly tip toed behind an observation bubble and telepathically reached out to Mr. Forkle, she told him exactly where she was. Then she reached out to Keefe and told him where she was. She then got up and inflicted on Lady Gisela. "Keefe!" She yelled running up to hug him, they embraced for a minute then Sophie remembered that lady Gisela wouldnt be passed out forever. "Oh, I've missed you so much Foster, how long has it been?" Keefe asked. "Almost 2 months." Sophie said. "So I have another baby?" Keefe asked. "Yeah." Sophie said, smiling. She then took his hand and they left the rest to the black swan's dwarves. "What did you name him?" Keefe asked. "Umm, actually I didn't. That wasn't even a thought in my mind." Sophie said. "Well then, let's go name are baby." Keefe said running faster, so they could get out of there. On there way out they saw Mr. Forkle in Sir Astin form running through the cave with Squall and Wrath. "She's in the 18th room." Sophie said. "Got it." Sir Astin said. Sophie and Keefe then exited the cave and quickly leaped to Havenfield. "Keefe! Is that you?" Edaline yelled from the front door. "Yeah, it's me!" Keefe yelled. "Can I take a shower here?" Keefe asked, suddenly realizing how messy and dirty he was. "Of course you can." Edaline said. "Thanks, Edaline." Keefe said. Sophie then turned and kissed him, suddenly aware of how long it'd been since she'd done that.
Finally, things were going to be happy again.
