Dinner chapter 14

When Sophie and keefe got to Havenfield almost everything was made already. Edaline was just finishing up desert. They both sat down after receiving hugs from Grady and Edaline and began to make small talk. "So how have the babies been Soph?" Grady asked. "Good, a little annoying, but good."Sophie replied. "That's good." Grady said. "Keefe how are you it must be rough knowing your going to have twins?" Edaline asked sympathetically. "It's... it's... a little nerve racking." Keefe said after a minute. "Well, just try not to worry too much, or feel like it's either of your faults. Remember what guilt can do." Edaline said, once again sympathetically. "We'll try." They said in unison. "That's good." Grady said. Sophie was so glad that Grady finally got along with Keefe, Keefe was too. After they finished eating Edaline left the room, she said she'd be right back- but when it took a few minutes Grady went back there with her. When they came out they were carrying two massive boxes. They carried them up and set them down next to Sophie. "Each of you open one!" Edaline said. Sophie opened hers first and it was a spectral mirror for their daughter. Then keefe opened his and it was the same. Sophie walked in range and a pretty little blonde girl popped up in the corner of the screen. "Hey your pretty." The little projection said. "What's your name?" Sophie asked a little exited that it called her pretty. "My name is Amy." The mirror said. "Cool, my sisters name is Amy." Sophie said. "Hey what's your name?" Keefe asked the other mirror. "My name is Alexander." The blonde boy in the mirror said. "Awesome." Keefe said. They said thank you and said their goodbyes they were on their way home. When they got home Sophie said "well that was unexpected, but nice." "Yeah, but hopefully Keefe junior loves it."Keefe said. "Keefe! That is not his name. Wait a minute, we never picked names for them." Sophie said. "See my snark pays off. Seriously though what should we name them?" Keefe said, suddenly turning serious. "Well, I'd like to use our initials so that we match." Sophie replied. "I like that how about... Katlyn, for the girl?" Keefe said. "Oh my gosh I love that, and for the boy how about... Steven?" "Ooh I love that!Cant wait until I can teach him how to do his hair like me!" Keefe said excitedly. "Keefe THATS what your excited about." Sophie said giggling. "We'll you want him to look hot right?" Keefe said, also a hint of a laugh in his voice. "Well if he's anything like you he'll already be hot, but I probably shouldn't be calling my unborn child hot." She said. "Well if little Katlyn is anything like you, she'll be the hottest girl alive, but like you said we shouldn't be calling our unborn children hot." Keefe said giggling a little. "Do you want to watch a movie, I'm tired?" Sophie asked with a yawn. "Yeah, Im pretty tired too." Keefe replied.
