The healing center chapter 25

When Sophie and Keefe arrived at the healing center Elwin was curing a student, so they waited in the hall. When the student came out they went in. "Hi Sophie, hi Keefe. What brings my two most frequent patients here?" Elwin asked. "Well actually we think Sophie's pregnant again." Keefe said. "Oh well that's great! Sophie come lay down." Elwin said smiling. "Okay." Sophie said. Sophie laid down on the cot and lifted her tunic above her stomach as Elwin flashed a beam of red light on it. "Yep, your definitely pregnant, the inception date is June 15." Elwin said enthusiastically. "What's the gender?" Sophie asked. "Umm, a boy!" Elwin said. "Yes!!!" Keefe said, sitting next to Sophie. "That's great!" Sophie said, seeming less excited than she should've been. "Hey soph? Why's wrong?" Keefe said, not smiling as much after watching a sad tear drip down his wife's cheek. "It's nothing." Sophie said, wiping away the tear. "Clearly it's not nothing." Keefe said, looking extremely worried now. "We'll I'm just worried that he won't have a good life, being the sibling of twins and the son of a freak in all." Sophie said, a worry crease forming between her eyebrows. "Hey, soph, it's gonna be alright, nobody said anything about the twins yet. You know why?" Keefe said smirking again. "No." Sophie said. "Because they know that those twins are both gonna manifest and be super powerful kids." Keefe replied. "Keefe's right, Sophie. Even if it pains me to say that." Elwin said smiling. "Okay, I guess." Sophie said, starting to smile herself. After that Sophie got up and they leaped to Everglen to get the twins from Della. After they got them they went to Havenfield to tell Grady and Edaline, then they hailed everyone else to tell them.
