Sunoo left for work the next day filled with dread. Had he known what truly lay ahead today, he may not have left the house at all. But today he knew that-ready or not - he would have to face Park Sunghoon.

He and Jungwon has spent the Day being besties and honestly Sunoo didn't bring it up at all. Jungwon didn't know, and he didn't want him to. One less thing for him to answer to - or for Jungwon to worry about.

Jungwon had planned to run around and give another go at looking for a job. Sunoo was planning to ask Sunghoon if they could hire Jungwon to write promos/ads/ etc. It wasn't much but at least it may get him back on his feet.

Although, honestly, Sunoo didn't want Jungwon to leave him.

Sunoo was thinking about the events of Saturday night, and he realized that he was conflicted. He was really into NiKi. He loved the way he gave him attention, was kind and protective, and was just overall extremely hot and successful.

But there was history with Sunghoon, and Sunoo didn't realized he felt as strongly about him as he must. After what they both said, he wondered what Sunghoon truly thought. He wondered if he should ever bring it up again.

Sunoo decided that the only way to figure out his feelings was to let Sunghoon know where his head was, but disconnect and actively pursue his relationship with NiKi. He wasn't ready to call NiKi his boyfriend. But he was ready to move on from the apparent pining he was unaware he had been doing over Sunghoon.

Stupid Hoon, he thought.

Sunoo walked into the bakery and started his day, taking comfort in his routine. The dough beneath his fingers, the smells of the kitchen, the mixing of his favorite creams. Sunghoon was in his office and he wasn't coming to greet Sunoo. Sunoo decided to just run things on his own.

He needed Sunghoon to see that he could do this. He wasn't just some flighty idiot face of the company. He was the talent. Yes, he needed Sunghoon's accounting prowess. But that was it. Sunoo was independent - a young and successful entrepreneur.

He was sipping his coffee as he hid in the kitchen, putting pastries onto trays to take to the display case

Sunoo found joy in serving customers. He could see Sunghoon wanting to help, but he wasn't going to ask. He hasn't answered him yesterday before or after he'd turned his phone on and off.

He glanced at Sunghoon periodically, taking solace in the fact that he looks adequately distraught.

That wasn't very nice of him, but he didn't care.

He saw that NiKi called and he knew he should call him back, but he didn't seem to be able to muster the energy.

It was finally closing time. Sunoo finished cleaning up and said a polite but bright goodbye to Sunghoon, eye smile happy and comforting in ways he didn't feel.

He headed out the door and looked up at the sky. It looked like rain and he was pretty excited - he had a lot of cool rain stuff he'd bought to make rainy days happier. Designer. Living his best life. It was comical how much nicer his apartment could have been if he didn't have so many designer clothes. He could probably find a home for him and Jungwon.

He was so busy watching the sky that he didn't notice the man as he rounded the corner.

"Oof!" He said as he slammed into the man. The man in front of him was tall and had on a beanie that he had pulled low on his head, and a coat with a high color that obscured his face, as well as a mask to prevent the spread of illness.

"Sorry, sorry," the man said, his voice disproportionately high given his frame.

"No, it was my fault," Sunoo said, smiling. "I wasn't paying attention. I've been really distracted"

"Everything ok?" The man asked, and Sunoo nodded.

"Yeah, just a lot going on."

The man cocked his head to one side. "Listen," he began, " honestly you look like you have good taste. I'm trying to pick out a present for my girlfriend and I could use some help. Would you mind looking at the stuff I got?"

Sunoo giggled at the stranger going out on a limb for a second opinion. "Of course!"

"AWESOME!  Be right back!"

The man ran to his car and pulled several items out of the back seat. There was a small box, a silk scarf, and another box that looked like a ring.

He opened the larger of the two boxes.

"This is her favorite perfume," he said. "And honestly I don't love it but it smell better on clothes. He sprayed a few spritzes on the scarf and handed it to Sunoo.

"What do you think?" He asked.

Sunoo held the scarf clothes to his nose. The smell was intoxicating but almost...almost...made him feel...

The man caught Sunoo before he hit the ground. Nothing like a little chloroform mixed with a strong perfume.

Holding Sunoo up like a friend who had one too many at the local bar, the man led Sunoo to his car and put him into the passenger side, tinted windows obscuring him from passers by.

Sitting in the drivers side. The man pulled his mask down just long enough to breathe. It was a risk, but...

"Sunoo, I'm really sorry," he whispered, "but I have to.  You are so important to completing my family. I wish it didn't have to be this way".

Pulling up his mask again, he headed toward the beautiful dungeon that would be Sunoo's home for the foreseeable future.

He let out another defeated sigh before banging on the steering wheel, eyes filled with tears, as he shouted "FUUUUUUCK!!!!!"

Sunoo didn't budge, and the man filled with fear and resistance/reluctance headed toward his next location.

He hoped this would be over soon.

Not far away, NiKi was waiting for Sunoo to call. Kinda. Sunghoon was trying not to cry, and an oblivious Jungwon who wasn't feeling well was leaving a note for Sunoo and taking medication to knock out this cold. Jay and Heeseung were on the phone, planning events at the center, but a bit burned out from the massive fundraiser. Jake was sitting down to a take out dinner, enjoying the quiet, but scrolling through Instagram, missing home.

No one knew what kind of chaos was ahead.

Well...someone did...
