Sunoo had never felt so many complicated feelings at once.

No, he wasn't a flighty airhead, though Sunghoon seemed to think so. He was a person with very deep thoughts and feelings that he rarely shared with anyone other than Jungwon, and even then he kept a lot to himself.

No one wants a serious Sunoo.

If only he knew how many people loved and supported him - ALL of him and not just the cute and bubbly version he showed in public.

A defeated Sunoo used his keys to unlock his apartment and flopped down on the couch. It was late, and he didn't want to wake Jungwon up. He didn't want to talk at all.

NiKi had been really insistent in them hanging out together for the rest of the night. And while Sunoo let him know that it meant a lot to him and he enjoyed spending time with NiKi, he really couldn't stay out. The one drink they'd had together was about one too many for a very upset Sunoo.

Especially one that was trying NOT to appear upset.

NiKi had been disappointed but kind when he walked Sunoo back to the apartment complex. He asked Sunoo if he would rather come over to his house instead of being back at home. Sunoo didn't assume or infer any kind of meaning to that. He and NiKi were obviously "dating" at this point and it wouldn't be weird for him to go stay with him. But he didn't feel like that was something he was ready for.

He especially didn't know how he felt about the argument with Sunghoon.

Sunghoon was so hard to understand. Sunoo figured out that he had probably been drinking, but he still couldn't understand the motivation behind Sunghoon's outburst.  Come to think of it, he couldn't understand the motivation behind HIS outburst, either.

It was in a flurry of emotions that Sunoo could not process that he fell asleep, exhausted and mentally drained, without so much as taking his shoes off on his living room couch.

And that is where Jungwon found him the next morning.

"Sunoo," Jungwon said, shaking his friend. He had gotten nervous when he woke up and Sunoo wasn't there, and there wasn't a text or phone call missed, either. So he had rushed out of the bedroom to see his best friend in what looked to be an uncomfortable position on the couch.

Sunoo opened his eyes and smiled brightly at his best friend.

"Hey Wonnie!  Good morning," he said, trying to sound more awake than he felt.

"I was worried when I woke up and you weren't here," Jungwon told him.

Sunoo apologized, "I just didn't want to wake you up. I got home really late and just sort of flopped onto the couch.

"It's fine! Do you have plans today?" Jungwon asked.

"Nope.  No plans".

"Then let's have day to ourselves," Jungwon said. And Sunoo nodded. They got dressed and headed down to the Jungs to get coffee before coming back up to the house to plan their do-nothing day, complete with K-dramas, drinking, ordering in, and ignoring the phone. That last part was really important to Sunoo, because he really didn't want to worry about checking in with anyone - or whether anyone was checking in with him.

He sent NiKi a text to let him know that he was spending the day with Jungwon and wouldn't be answering any calls or texts and not to worry.   A reply came in, but he didn't check it.

In fact, he turned his phone off altogether.

Stress and anxiety seemed like a Monday problem. Not for Sunoo. Not today. Not with his best friend.

*******

The plan had been to go ahead and try to get Sunoo to come with him today, but Sunoo only left the house one time, and then it was with his roommate. After staring outside the apartment for hours, it was obvious that the plan had to change. The man typed a few things into his phone and decided to take a bit to think about his next steps.

Not much longer, Sunoo, the man thought.  You can't run and hide forever.
