"Oh so your the Charmaine Hunter? God I can't see how my boyfriend was interested in you." The girl said.
"Huh?" Charmaine said.
"Are you dense? You and him dated behind my back. Or are you just going around the school and can't even remember him?" She said.
Ouch. She never knew rumors were spread about her.
"I don't even know who your talking about. I never-" Charmaine said but got cut off by the girl.
"You're a whore!" She said and got up and left.
"Ookay then." Charmaine said and shrugged and got up.
You know the only good thing about her day is that was that she finally got a car. It took her awhile to get her drivers license. She failed by always getting road rage and yelling at the props "Move it or lose it!" Scaring the driving instructor. But then she finally got it on the 3rd try.
She got up and looked around to see if anyone notice. No one did. So she let a sigh of relief out and went to another table.
"Hey I'm Charmaine mind if I sit here?" She asked.
"Of course sweetheart." The guy said.
She cringed with that word but brushed it off hoping to change his perspective on what he thinks he's gonna get.
"What's your name?" Charmaine asked.
"You don't know me?" The guy asked.
"That's why I asked." Charmaine said.
"Babe. Come on really?" The guy said.
"You know what." She grabbed his drink and got up and poured it on him.
"My hair!" He yelled.
"You were receding anyway!" She yelled and left.
Right when Charmaine is leaving she bumped into someone.
"Hey watch- Oh hey Charmaine." Eric said and smiled.
"Hi Eric." Charmaine said looking the other way and looking at him.
"How've you been?" Eric asked.
"I've been just fine." Charmaine fake smiled.
"How about yourself?" Charmaine asked.
"I've been doing-" Eric got cut off.
"I don't care." Charmaine said.
"There's the Charmaine I know." Eric laughed.
"Look I'm sorry about you and Jason. But can we still be friends or whatever we were." Eric said.
She thought for a moment. Right now she is desperate for a friend. And no one wanted to be her friend.
She didn't want to say it out loud so she just nodded hoping that'll give the hint on her agreeing.
He smiled at her and nodded and they both walked down to Chubbies to hangout.
Charmaine warned him about the incidents that had happened a couple minutes ago
Charmaine told him about what happened today and all the incidents that happened before they saw each-other.
She was reenacting what happened with the last guy and they both just laughed. Making everyone at Chubbies look at them for a moment.
"So does this mean we are finally friends?" Eric asked.
"How about acquaintances?" Charmaine said.
"I'll take what I can get." Eric said and put his hand out for a handshake.
She looked at his hand for a moment and then grabbed it gently and shook his hand and they both started getting more aggressive with the handshake and laughing about it.
"Hey you Charmaine Hunter?" A guy came up to them.
"Who's asking?" She said.
"Me." He said.
"You a under cover cop?" She asked.
"No." The guy said.
"Then yes." Charmaine said and smiled.
He laughed a bit and then asked her.
"Can I get your number?" He asked.
"she ain't interested." Eric said.
"Oh sorry I didn't know you had a boyfriend." He said and walked away.
She looked at Eric and glared and grabbed his hair and shook his head gently and he then grabbed her face and shook her head and they both started laughing again.
She may not admit it out loud but Eric Matthews is her friend.
So then after the hangout at Chubbies noticing they never ate they walked around downtown and found a hotdog cart.
"I have a question." Charmaine said.
"Ask away." Eric said enjoying his hotdog.
"If you were dating someone and want to take them on a date where would it be?" Charmaine asked.
"I don't know probably somewhere we both wanna be. Like this hotdog cart." Eric answered.
"Hm." Charmaine said and started eating
