Sa lumipas na mga araw ay wala akong narinig na mga insulto. They showered me compliments that I haven't heard before while I was pretending as a nerd. Even the instructor who was pushing me in this pageant despite of having a little faith on me. Let me rephrase that, she was sure that I wouldn't make it. She just wanted me to join because that was Logan's condition.
"Ang ganda mo talaga Khloe. Pwede ka na rumampa! " Connie commented.
"Yeah. You look so good in our PE uniform. " Nina added while tying her shoes.
I smiled at them. They were nice to me ever since so I really appreciate their genuine compliments.
"Thank you. "
I discarded my old PE uniform. Tama lang sa katawan ko ang suot ko ngayon. I fixed my hair in a clean ponytail. Sigurado ako na pagpapawisan ako mamaya.
Paglabas namin ng restroom ay agad kong namataan si Logan na nakahilig sa may pader. Nakasuot na rin ito ng PE uniform nya. Napansin ko rin na pinagtitinginan sya ng mga babaeng napapadaan. He's attractive. With his bad boy look and dominating personality, anyone would fall submissive... except me.
"Ahm una na kami sa gym. "
Hindi na hinintay ni Connie ang sagot ko at hinila na lang basta si Nina.
Ibinalik ko ang tingin kay Logan. He checked me from head to toe.
"Satisfied? " I asked sarcastically.
Tumaas ang sulok ng labi nya.
"You look good in everything you wear but I'm more comfortable this way. No bare legs to show."
I smiled fakely.
"I didn't wear this for your satisfaction. This is required." I said.
He just sheepishly smiled and walked closer to me.
"Where's your old uniform? I like that more. You should wear that. "
"So you could tease me about my looks? "
His forehead creased.
"Did you see yourself in the mirror? How could I possibly make fun of your looks? "
I scoffed.
"Really Logan? Want me to remind you those times that you insulted my looks? "
"I just described you. Hindi ka naman talaga maganda noon. But surprisingly, you smelled good. Kung hindi nga kita naamoy, iisipin ko na hindi ka naliligo. "
My lips parted. Did he just... oh my gosh! I couldn't believe this!
I held my bag tightly and hit him.
"You're such an asshole! "
"I'm just telling the truth! " He defended. Sinasalag nya ang bawat hampas ko gamit ang mga braso nya. Wala na akong pakelam kahit pinagtitinginan kami.
He's pissing me off!
"How could you say that?! "
"What do you want me to do? Sugarcoat? " He stopped my hand from hitting him.
Mas lalo lang ako nainis sa kanya. Hinila ko pabalik ang bag ko at masama syang tinignan. Tinalikuran ko sya at naunang maglakad.
"Let me carry your bag. " He said. Nakasunod sya sa akin.
"Khloe... "
He held the string of my bag that made me stopped from walking. Marahas ko naman itong hinigit pabalik. Ilang araw nya na rin ako kinukulit.
