Khloe

"Really? You're here again? " Drew asked flatly while punching the cup of noodles.

"Yes. Really. I'm hungry so please make it fast. " I said using the same tone.

"Go to the other convenience store. Not here. " Saad nya. Walang masyadong tao kaya malaya nya akong pinagtatabuyan.

"Do you know any other convenience store ? " I asked while paying for my stuffs.

"Yup. There's one near my condo---"

"Then you should apply there. It will be convenient for the both us. " I said in a blank expression. I took my change and left him.

Nilagyan ko ng mainit na tubig ang cup at umupo sa tapat ng glass wall. Gabi na at kakaunti na lang ang mga taong dumadaan. Nakatulog ako kanina at late na nagising kaya di ako nakapag dinner. It's quarter to 10 and I'm too lazy to prepare for my dinner and since malapit lang naman ang convenience store, I decided to have it here. I'm not that hungry so noodles and sandwich are fine with me.

I took a bite of my sandwich and appreciate the taste of it. Not bad. I was busy having my noodles when someone sat beside me. He placed his own cup of noodles on the table.

"What? " He asked when he noticed that I'm staring at him. Iniwas ko ang tingin ko at nag focus na lang sa sariling pagkain. We're both silent. Wala naman kami dapat pag-usapan at hindi rin naman kami close.

"Hindi mo ba tatanungin kung bakit hindi ako sumama sa beach resort? " He broke the silence.

"Tanungin mo muna kung may pake ako sayo. " I coldly said. I could feel the heaviness of his stare at hindi nga ako nagkamali nang lingunin ko ito. He's shooting daggers through his glaring eyes.

"You really know how to ruin a supposed to be a normal talk. "

I shrugged, not giving a shit.

Seconds later, I heard him blew a deep sigh. Maybe there's something that's bothering him.

"I am ashamed of myself. " He started. So... we're gonna have a heart to heart talk?

"Yeah, you should. Suck it up. That's the result of being a jerk. " I said and sipped on my juice.

"Wow. At least show some kindness. I'm trying to be nice here by lowering my pride. " He said sarcastically.

"Hmm sorry. Not a fan of sugarcoating."

He scoffed.

"I can't believe this. We should really stay as enemies. Let's just forget that I helped you earlier. " He put emphasis on the last sentence.

"Yup. Let's forget about it. Instead, let's reminisce on those times that you bully me... and how I always put you in shame in the end. " I grinned and raised an eyebrow.

He glared at me and snickered. He's so done. Napuno na siguro. Ibinalik nya na lang ang atensyon sa pagkain at padabog na kumain. I could hear his rants but I chose to ignore it. He doesn't need to whisper it, I could clearly hear it.

Pagtapos kumain at ligpitin ang kalat ko ay lumabas na ako. Napapikit ako nang makitang umuulan. Yup. Luck ain't on my side right at this moment.

Babalik na sana ako sa loob dahil napagdesisyunan na magpatila na lang ulan nang biglang bumukas ang pintuan ng convenience store. Lumabas mula roon si Drew na salubong ang kilay.

"Here use it. "

Napatingin ako sa payong na binibigay nya. Ibinalik ko ang tingin sa mukha nya. Nagtaas ako ng kilay at iniwas ang tingin.
