I expected to see him today but not this early. I mean we supposed to see each other at school at 10:00 but... there he goes. Opening his car door, waiting for me.
"What are you doing here?"
"Sinusundo ka." He answered.
Our class will start at 10:00. Kaya lang ako maaga ngayon dahil may kailangan akong puntahang meeting. Kami ni Xavier ang representative ng section namin.
"Mamaya pa ang klase natin. You are 3 hours early, Logan."
He shrugged. "I'm trying to impress you. See my effort please."
Napailing na lang ako at sumakay na. When he secured my seatbelt, he drove off.
"Bakit ba kailangan samahan yung nerd na yun? Hayaan mo syang umattend. Malaki na sya."
I rolled my eyes.
"They need two representatives and as the Vice President, I should be there."
"Pwede naman yung secretary na lang para may tagasulat si Sarmiento." Saad nya. He's being stubborn again.
"Sino ba nagsabi sayo na sunduin mo ko? Kung nagrereklamo ka dahil maaga kang nagising, you can stop the car and drop me here."
Nilingon ako ni Logan at nagsalubong ang kilay. "That's not what I mean. I'm just concerned. You slept late last night because of a certain homework. "
He's right. Paano nya nalaman? He was bugging me last night. Naka-open ang video call at sabay kaming gumagawa ng homework namin.
He even complained that he wasn't registered on my phone. Kaya pinilit nya akong ilagay ang number nya sa contacts ko. He even want me to put a heart next to his name.
"I'm used to this. Don't worry about me."
"Tss. Humanda talaga sa akin yang nerd na yan." He whispered.
"Logan..." Saway ko. Him and his threats. He scoffed and didn't say anything.
"Nag breakfast ka na ba?"
Umiling ako. Now that he mentioned it, bigla akong nakaramdam ng gutom.
"Let's have breakfast at the cafeteria."
When we arrived at the school, Logan parked his car. Tumayo ako sa isang gilid at hinintay sya. Bumalik ito sa sasakyan nya dahil may naiwan sya.
"Khloe!"
Nilingon ko iyon at nakita si Xavier. May hawak itong libro at tumatakbo pala sa akin.
"Didiretso ka na ba sa meeting room?"
I shook my head. Mamaya pa naman ang start.
"Kakain muna ako sa cafeteria."
"Hindi pa rin ako kumakain. Sabay na tayo." He offered.
Sasagot na sana ako nang may biglang umakbay sa akin. Napawi naman ang ngiti ni Xavier.
"Tamang tama hindi pa rin kumakain si Drew. Sabay na kayo!"
Kumunot ang noo nang papalapit na si Drew.
"Naniniko ako." Saad nito at biglang lumihis ng daan.
Iginiya naman ako ni Logan paalis.
"Wait si Xavier!"
"Hayaan mo sya. He's an introvert and those kind of people prefers to be alone."
Nilingon ko si Xavier at nakita kong kausap na ito ni Nina. Why is she here? Mamaya pa ang klase nya?
