Chapter 4

Khloe

I dragged Xavier until we reached the sink located at the back of one of the buildings.

I helped him wiped the red and yellow thick sauces on his face. Those bullies! This is beyond my expectations! I didn't even think that they would go that far.

Inabutan ko sya ng tissue bago ako humarap sa sink para maghilamos. The stickiness of those sauces feels so gross on my face. I suddenly want to rush to our condo and take a good cold shower!

Kinuha ko ang handkerchief ko sa bulsa at pinunasan ang mukha. Kung may dala lang sana akong dirt remover liquid ay kanina ko pa sana kinuha for deeper cleansing. Nanlalagkit pa rin kasi ako. It feels like washing my face isn't enough.

I took another tissue and wiped my stained glasses.

"We should tell this to the faculty. Let's talk to our adviser directly." I said as I continue cleaning my glasses.

"Y-your face... "

Natigilan ako sa ginagawa at nag angat ng tingin kay Xavier. Nakatulala ito sa akin habang nakaawang ang bibig.

My forehead creased with confusion.

Is there something wrong?

Titig na titig ito sa akin na para bang may kakaiba sa mukha ko.

Shit! My face! Mabilis akong tumalikod at sinuot ang salamin. I cursed silently.

How did I forget about it?! Hindi pa naman waterproof yung makeup na nilagay ko especially the eyeliner! I'm so doom! I was so damn careless!

"Khloe... " He called.

I bit my lower lip. Calm down, Khloe. Wag kang papahalata.

I cleared my throat and slowly turned to him

"Something wrong?" hindi ko pinahalata ang kaba sa boses ko. Glad I didn't stammer!

"Ahm nothing. Are you alright?"

I sighed in relief. Thankfully he didn't ask about it. Maybe he didn't see it clearly since almost half of his thick glasses was kinda covered with the mustard.

"I'm okay. Ikaw? You were hit by a bottled water. May I see if there's a wound or sort of?"

He was stunned but later on slowly nodded his head.

Tumingkayad ako at tinignan ang ulo nya. There's no wound or any visible damage.

"Masakit ba? "

He shook his head.

Nakahinga ako ng maluwag.

"Let's go find our adviser."

Tinalikuran ko sya at agad na naglakad pero agad din napahinto nang mapansin na hindi sya umalis sa kinatatayuan nya

"What's wrong?" I asked, confused with his action

"Wag na Khloe. Siguradong mas lalo nila tayong pag iinitan kapag nagsumbong tayo."

I crossed my arms.

"Sa tingin mo ba titigilan nila tayo kapag nanahimik tayo?"

Bumuka ang bibig nya pero agad nya rin iyon itinikom

"They won't stop until they get the satisfaction that they want... and that is our misery. This is something that shouldn't be tolerated"

"I know! I get it but... they're powerful than us" he lowered his head

"And just because of that you will back out?"

"We have lesser chance. Believe me it will only worsen the situation"
