A smirk formed across the girls face while rereading the texts from Ro. She knew how quickly he would fall for people- only to get hurt. The thought of him being devastated once again left her with a sorrow feeling.
"Hey Tsireya can you help me find my next class." This voice being heard sounded rough and choppy. She looked up from her phone and saw that same boy from earlier- lo'ak.
" ummmmmm, let me see- OH YES Mr. Haunani ! He's the science teacher and close to my next class. VERY nice, you'll like him."
" Okay great."
We started to push are way through the crowded halls. Different smells came and gone; some pleasant like fresh air. While others were like people forgot how to shower.
" Okay here you are !" I announced to lo'ak with jazz hands.
" Thank you again !" Lo'ak shot Reya a wide smile while walking into his class- nice smile she thought.
As soon as I sat down I remembered Ro's request to invite the Sullys to lunch- shit. The feeling of needing to complete this task filled my mind- it was only thing I could focus on. I didn't care about the lesson or how I was definitely missing important information. Nothing else mattered.
In hopes to calm my mind I started to develop a mental plan: 1. RIGHT after class I will rush out the door and find lo'ak. 2. Once I find lo'ak I can invite him and his siblings to lunch. 3. Lo'ak can then ask his siblings- okay, okay this will work... my breathing started to become heavy. I hated this obsessive feeling. The need, not want, need to fix whatever was wrong. I would hyper fixate on the smallest and most insignificant things, it would become incredibly overwhelming to the point where I would break down into tears.
I started to blink back the emotions forming in my eyes, my face feeling hot like it was burning off- I didn't know what to do. I was in the middle of class obsessing over something SO STUPID !
But then I was startled by a cold hand pressing against my shoulder. I turned only to be met with Kiri- her face looked caring and kind. Unlike earlier where she seemed to be annoyed shitless.
"Are you okay ?" Her voice was full of consideration- like she knew just how to help.
I was so spaced out that I didn't even realize that she was sitting next to me. I CAN ASK HER INSTEAD OF LOAK !
I let out a sigh of relief and could feel by body settling into my seat. My mind began to clear, feeling at ease. After a minute I went on autopilot and just started letting my thoughts run into words.
"I'm okay now- I do this thing we're I hyper fixate on stupid things and well this time it was kinda about you..." Kiri's face dropped.
" Well, what I mean is I just wanted to ask you and your brothers to lunch with me and my brothers. But I forgot to ask lo'ak and there is only one more period before lunch and I didn't know if I would see any of you... so ?"
Kiri let out a small chuckle, forming an understanding look on her face. "I get it- I do the same thing... and I'll text my brothers right now so your mind can rest."
"Thank you." At least I didn't scare her away. I watched her pull out her phone and began typing at an incredibly fast paste- wow.
After a minute of awkward silence she looked up at me, "Okay my brothers both agreed !"
" Thats great- Ro will be VERY excited !"
Her wide smile plummeted into a resting bitch face with the widest eye roll I have ever seen following.
"Queen of eyes rolls Hu ?"
" uhhh sorry- I didn't mean it like THAT. Its just he's been bugging me..."
" He's just trying to be a good guide."
"Yeah" she turned away from me and starting to quickly write notes. Switching the pen between her hands as she wrote, "I've never seen someone do that."
"Oh yeah, I know it's kinda weird but it helps me keep up with the teacher."
"I didn't mean it as a bad thing, its really impressive." I admired her, she had many features that I longed for- the straight hair, green eyes, perky boobs- I had no boobs. It was always something that my mom said I would get but never did. I'm still holding out unrealistic hope for at least something, but as I get older the likely hood is almost none.
Soon after my interaction with Kiri the bell rang. We gathered are things as a thought popped into my mind, "Hey can I have your number ? I would love to have more girlfriends- my brothers are a bit much sometimes..."
"I feel that. My brothers are amazing but I see a LOT of them !"
We both shared a laugh and exchanged numbers- I could see why Ro was already falling for her. She would be a good fit for him.

"Okay well I got to go to Miss. Kane's class, wherever the allaena (fuck) that it." - what is allaena ???
I tried to not seem so confused as I reassured her, "Oh it's right around the corner !"
"Hu- that shouldn't be too bad.." And with that she left on the hunt. Strange girl- but good strange, like that one friend that has the best personality that's unlike anyone else.
