Dean wakes up feeling chirpier than normal, but he's noticed that a lot over the past couple of weeks. He climbs out of bed, getting ready then heading into the kitchen to cook some breakfast for him and Sammy. Not even John could dampen his good mood. "Morning dean" Sam yawns appearing in the kitchen ready for school "morning Sammy" dean grins and Sam just rolls his eyes, sick of correcting his brother "what's got you so happy?" Sam smirks "nothing" dean shrugs shoveling the freshly made food in his mouth "does nothing also happen to go by the name of Castiel?" Sam smirks. Sam always knew that dean was gay or at the very least bi-sexual, not that dean had ever admitted it to him, he just knew and the way he was with cas he could tell there was something else going on. "Whatever, eat your food.. Bitch" dean scoffs not bothering to deny the accusation "jerk" Sam smirks knowingly.

Castiel was having an equally as happy morning. He woke up with both his brother and his father gone and to be replaced by Anna who decided on an impromptu visit. "Morning Cassie" gabe smiles as cas joins his siblings at the table "good morning Castiel" Anna beams "morning guys" cas yawns pouring himself a glass of milk and taking one of the pieces of toast from the plate in the middle. "I got you a present" Anna exclaims passing over a bag to cas, inside lays a set of Faber Castell water coloured pencils, not only Cas' favourite pencils but also quite expensive too "oh my god Anna" he exclaims "what?" She laughs "these are Faber Castell pencils" he exclaims "yeah Gabe said they're your favourites and that your old ones were looking a little worse for wear" she smiles "you shouldn't have" he states softly admiring them "course I should have you're my baby bro" she chuckles. "Thank you Anna" he smiles tucking them away in his back pack. "So Cassie are you going to see dean-o today?" Gabe smirks "dean?" Anna asks raising her eyebrow "Cassie's boy friend" gabe laughs "he's not my boy friend.. He urm.. Well.." Cas trails off "yeah those little midnight escapes from the house that you think no one notices but I always do kind of makes his your boy friend" Gabe smirks "well tell me about him" Anna beams "he's so perfect" Cas sighs a grin spreading across his face "he's tall and kind of buff, he has this perfect hair that you just want to run your hands through all the time.. He gets these perfect dimples in his cheeks when he smiles and that's with out even talking about his perfect smile, you could get lost in it.. I do.. But they have nothing on his eyes, his eyes are stunning, they're captivating, literally a gift from god himself" Cas beams "he's so.." He trails off "perfect?" Anna teases making Cas laugh. They leave for school soon after and Cas finds himself excited to see dean.

"I got your text" Cas frowns walking up to dean who's stood leaning against the impala. Cas had gotten a text from dean on the way over telling him to meet him at the car. "Hello to you too cas" dean laughs pulling Cas into a hug, he presses his lips to Cas' and Cas is willing to get lost in the kiss, forgetting completely where they are "hi" Cas mumbles eventually pulling away. "Okay, lets go then" dean smirks opening the door to the car for Cas "where are we going?" Cas frowns "it's a surprise" dean responds "we have school?" Cas questions "not today now get in" dean laughs.

Cas hesitantly gets into the car and they drive away, after of course Cas texts Gabe asking him to call in sick to the school, last thing he needs is his father finding out he skipped. Dean drives right to the border of town before turning and going up a little dirt road "is this the part where you kill me?" Cas laughs "you'll see" dean smirks. He eventually stops the car and all Cas can see are trees. They follow the little mud path through the trees and when they get out the other side Cas can't believe his eyes. There's a ledge that seems to look over the rest of town, on it dean has laid out a blanket and a picnic.

"Oh my god, it's beautiful" Cas gasps "yeah it is" dean smiles but what Cas doesn't know is dean wasn't looking at the scenery, he was looking at Cas, watching as his expression changes, filling with light and life. They sit down on the blanket picking at the food, all of Cas' favourites of course, and sharing intimate kisses over the beautiful scenery, watching as the day passes them.

"Cas I actually brought you here for a reason" dean whispers some time later "why's that?" Cas asks bringing his shining eyes up to lock with deans "so we've been this.. Whatever we are for a few weeks now and while I'm completely happy just being in your presence I think it's about time we put a label to this" dean states "meaning what?" Cas asks "Cas, I want you to be my boyfriend" dean smiles. Cas almost explodes, he practically jumps into deans arms peppering kisses all over his face "I take it that means yes?" Dean asks "of course it does" Cas grins.

"Can I ask you something?" Cas asks "anything" dean responds, just as Cas knew he would, it's his response every time. "I don't want to ask about your family life cause that's down to you to tell me but I've noticed your father is rarely around and your mother never" Cas states. Dean freezes, he's not ready to tell him all about his father but he at least deserves to know the minimal. "My mom died Cas" dean whispers "dean I'm so sorry" Cas states taking deans hand in his and entwining there fingers. "It happened a long time ago, I was four and Sammy was only six months old.. She died in Sammy's nursery, a fire, he would have died too if we hadn't gotten him out in time.. John he.. He didn't take it very well and I've practically had to raise Sammy, id put his life before my own anytime" dean admits. Didn't take it well, Cas knows that has some sort of hiding meaning behind it, but he doesn't push, it took alot for dean to admit this much to him and he doesn't want his boyfriend to recoil. Instead they just enjoy the rest of there day, watching as the town moves beneath them.
