2 days left.
"I don't think this plan is a good idea," Ajay said once I explained my plan. It involved breaking into the base and changing setting, force fields, things that I couldn't really do. "Listen, today is just a game you should focus on. It's to pick your teammates, and it's trios. I want you guys to pick Loba."

"Obviously," I said, getting up. "And the game starts in 2 hours. We should catch up to her. Ajay, I love you. Don't die, ok?"

"I don't plan to. Bring it home for me." I smiled and walked out of the room. "Alright, I go get Loba, you go get ready." I got on my tippy-toes to reach him and he grabbed my waist, planting a kiss on my forehead.

"I'll see you in a little bit, my love." I hated when he acted like that. But it made me feel nice. I made my way towards Loba's room, and knocked. I was greeted by Bangalore. Shirtless. "Oh my God," I said, turning away quickly. At least she had a sports bra on.

"Oh- I'm so sorry," Baqngalore said, closing the door. I'm guessing she ran and got her shirt because she opened the door with her shirt on this time. "Loba's inside."

"Should I be concerned?" I asked, chuckling.

"No," Loba laughed, sitting back in her bed, tablet open. "If this is about a team, I'm fine with it."

"You read my mind. What about Anita?" I asked, and Anita sat next to Loba.

"I'll be fine. I have a team already."

"Who?" Loba and I asked.

"Uh, Revenant an-"

"Demonio?!" Loba yelped, turning to Anita. I raised my eyebrow and started to back away.

"I'm not-"

"Yeah, yeah I'll be on your team. We'll talk about this later," Loba said sharply, glaring at Bangalore. I wasn't going to mess with her.
We decided to head out towards the ship as the game was starting soon. Octane bounced around, Loba filed her nails with a fan(which was new to me) and I put my headband on. The platforms lowered and I could see the new map. Broken Moon.

The place was huge. I had seen a picture of it in progress, but never would I have thought that it was that big. Zip lines filled the place. And a massive building erupted from the center. "I say we go there," Octane's voice rang through as he pinged the building.

"If you want to die," Loba said, rolling her eyes. "It's the biggest attraction, everyone is going to go there. I think it sounds good here." She pinged a medium-sized building, most likely filled with loot. As we reached the spot, I split off and went left, Octane going right. We landed and I found a Wingman and a P2020. Not the best start.

"Did anyone see an R-99?" I said through our comms. I rummaged through the building finding some ammo. When I looked into my backpack, I found just enough things to fight one person. I sighed before hearing footsteps above me. I ducked behind a crevice and pinged above me. Octane and Loba both started moving towards me slowly. I made sure my Wingman was loaded. When the person came down, I opened fire, missing all of my shots. I quickly slid out and behind them, pulling out my P2020 and unloading. Octane came in and helped me get the knock. "Hey Elliot," I chuckled, using my standard finisher.

As my shield refilled, Loba came down, dropping an R-99. "Here. Found that."

"Sweet." I picked it up, dropping my Wingman and the ammo. "I need ammo."

"I'l just place-"

"No, don't. Elliot's squad is somewhere around here." And as if on cue, A door opened behind us and a drone flew in as we were scanned. "Shit." We ran, shooting down the drone and avoiding being out in the open. From behind us, shots emerged, hitting me in my back a couple of times. I limped, shaking off the sting of the bullets. As we reached the big building, another squad came out in front of us. Octane placed his jump pad and we jumped high, Loba using her jump drive to get further away. I looked at my rework abilities. Nothing useful. As Loba and Octane sped away, I turned back and launched an arc star toward them. It struck Crypto and took his shield off. I tried outrunning him and reaching Loba, but I got knocked when I reached a zipline. "A little help here!" I yelled, activating my knockdown shield.
I had only died once. But I'd never been finished. In an attempt to restore his shields, Crypto finished me. I was awoken roughly by some dumb nurse. "Dude, what the hell are you doing?" I asked once I felt something sharp in my skin. They panicked and ran out. I yanked the tubes in my skin. I ran out, realizing that I wasn't on the dropship anymore. I looked for a TV. My team was alive and had respawned me, but it wasn't me in the game. It was a really good clone of me. Suddenly, guards appeared out of nowhere. "Where the hell am I?" I asked, knowing I had little chance of escape.
