Greigh POV:
I can't believe I led us all straight to the bad guys. UGH, I AM SUCH AN IDIOT WHY DID I NOT SEE THIS COMING?!?!?!?
So now, we all have to go out of our way to go to Japan, find the lab, get the serums, and do it all faster than the Turners. (AGAIN, BIGGEST IDIOT IN THE WORLD)
Right now, I'm packing up all of my important things into a backpack, while Liana and Heyden head back to their little house to grab their luggage. I hope Heyden restrains Liana from bringing too much; I know this is out of the way and annoying for all of us, but Liana's excited to see the Japanese cities. Seriously, not the time, sis, but I'll still let her look around a little after the job is done anyways, because I do feel bad about putting us in this position in the first place.
We all agreed were going to need to use our powers for this, especially because were not immortal, and damageable now.
A knock raps on my door (I'm in my basement room right now), the one I associate with Dean most of the time.
"Come in." I call, wondering why they haven't left to start packing yet.
Dean struts in (Yeah, Dean can't walk, he can only strut. I used to think it's just genetics and it's just the way he walks or something, but no, it's just his ego, heh... *cough cough*), and looks at me with a frown.
"Not only are we mortal now," He throws up his arms. "We also can't teleport!"
"What?" I gasp. I didn't see that one coming. I thought it was bad enough that we were mortal now, but were also unteleportable? Seriously, that's a new low. Damn.
"Wait." I realize. "This means were going to have to..."
"Rob a bank." Dean shrugs nonchalantly.
"What?" I recoil. "No! We have to pay for plane tickets ourselves." I tell him. Jeez, he thinks he can rob a bank? What is he, crazy? (Yes, definitely)
"And how will we do that? I'm broke, just FYI." Dean shrugs. Ugh. We might actually have to rob a bank.
"..."
"So... that's a yes, isn't it?" Dean bounces on his feet.
💚💚💚
The plan is assembled. I can not believe we are actually doing this. We're crazy.
"In and out." Dean says, as we sit in Heyden's small and cramped car. It wasn't made for five, let me tell you, but it fits us, so we'll be okay. Uncomfortable, but okay.
"Have you done this before?" Heyden asks him from the back seat beside Liana and I, and Dean sheepishly gets out of the car.
"Okay, lets go, enough talking." He ushers everyone out.
"You've robbed a bank before?!" Liana whisper yells at him.
"Hey, yeah, that's the spirit!" Dean grumbles sarcastically, pushing her ahead of him.
"We'll be back to this topic later." She warns him. "You better get your excuses ready."
"Yes, mother." He rolls his eyes.
"If I was to be related to you, I'd be your hot aunt, and we both know it." Liana rolls her eyes.
We enter the bank, and our plan is in action.
I walk up to the front desk, and talk to the woman on the computer. She looks like she hates her job, which is agreeable, considering she looks to be in her late teens. She should be doing something more exciting than this in her earlier life.
"Hello, sir, how can I help you today?" She smiles in a kind of way that gives me the heebie jeebies, and she's inspecting me up and down. Girl, sorry to be the one to tell you this, but you have to look at people's faces when you're talking to them. (Not their butts.)
"Hi. I would like to take out a loan, please," I say, smiling a little, trying not to look suspicious. I failed as soon as I walked in here though; my palms are sweating, my platinum blond hair probably looks a mess, and my smile probably doesn't look any less creepy than the look she's giving me.
"And your name, sir?" She turns to a computer.
"Greigh Coal." I say, and read out my account information as she enters it into the computer.
"Right... so you don't make a whole lot of money, but how much was it you wanted to take out?"
I gulp. Now or never.
"One million dollars." I say without a stutter. She coughs, and looks up at me, forcing a smile.
"Um,.. I'm sorry, sir, but it's just.. I thought you said one million dollars." She laughs, and when I don't laugh along with her, she frowns.
"Yes, that's what I said." I reply, getting irritated with our lack of time.
"Right. I-I'm afraid you don't make quite enough for us to deposit you one million dollars." She laughs flirtatiously, tossing her blonde hair over her shoulder.
I don't want to do this... ugh I know, Liana's watching me anticipatingly, and...
I lean down and in closer, and she smiles and leans down too, meeting my gaze.
"Listen," I focus my attention on her norepinephrine neurotransmitter (ignore the fancy words for the flirty part of the brain) and speed up the process a little, manipulating her feelings. "I have someplace I need to be right now, and this isn't it... now you're pretty understanding, aren't you?" I ask with my voice lowered down.
"Yes." Her facial expression changes, my manipulating working on her. "I am."
"Good, now, I need that money for something very confidential, and I can't get to it without your consent. If you really think about it, you're running this whole place." I'm buttering her up with compliments that frankly aren't true, and I'm having a hard time keeping a straight face as I do this.
"I am, aren't I?" She giggles softly. I feel bad for manipulating her, and hope she won't feel stupid later on. That's the worst feeling, stupidity. "How have I never met you?" she frowns.
"People say small world, but it's pretty big. And I don't usually come to this bank often. But maybe I will more now." I wink. Barf. Now I really feel guilty for leading her on like this. "So what do you say? Will you help me out?" I raise my eyebrow, standing back to my full height. She sits up too, eagerly typing into her computer under my manipulations. I hope her boss doesn't fire her for this.
"Do you want that in your card, or cash?"
Cue Dean's wolf whistle.
