Ummm, hey...so I was relooking through the story and realized that I completely deleted Chapter 10 somehow😬

I don't exactly remember what the original one was but I know the just...so without further ado, here is the new Chapter 10!

Kathryn and Anthony had been at the Bishop house far longer than Kathryn had expected. When they arrived Kathryn had gone up to see her father, leaving Anthony down with her mother and sister. When she was finished talking to her father she sent Anthony up. The two men ended up talking for nearly two hours. When they were finished Anthony came down telling Kathryn that they better get going. She tried her best to get Anthony to tell her what he and her father spoke about, but he would not tell.

Kathryn now sat in Daphne's room as the girl held up dress after dress trying to figure out what to wear.

"I think the white one would be beautiful," Kathryn said, really just wanting to get this over with.

"Do you truly think so?" Daphne said holding the white one up as she looked in the mirror.

"I do," Kathryn confirmed.

"Kathryn is right dear," Violet agreed, "You will look absolutely beautiful."

A wide smile appeared on Daphne's face, "The white one it is then."

--

Kathryn walked into the ball as she held onto Anthony's arm.

"I am going to have to escort Daphne around tonight," Anthony said.

Kathryn just nodded her head indicating that she had heard what he said.

"I will be around if you need me," Anthony said.

"I will not be needing you Lord Bridgerton," Kathryn said, "I can take care of myself."

Anthony looked toward his wife like he was going to say something but just walked away toward Daphne.

"Care for a dance?" Benedict asked stepping beside Kathryn.

"I would love to," Kathryn smiled.

Kathryn grabbed ahold of Benedict's arm as he led her to the dance floor. The two danced in comfortable silence for a while.

"How was your visit to your parents?" Benedict asked.

"It was all right," Kathryn lied.

"You know you are not a very good liar," Benedict said.

"Are you accusing me of lying?" Kathryn asked.

"No," Benedict said.

"Good. Because it is not very gentleman like to accuse a lady of lying," Kathryn said.

"Are you saying that I am not a gentleman?" Benedict asked.

"I would never," Kathryn said, suppressing a smile.

"It is settled then," Benedict said, "I am not calling you a liar and you are not saying that I am not a gentleman."

Silence fell back over the two as they continued to dance.

"If you can believe it or not I have been told multiple times in my life that I am a horrible liar," Kathryn said, "I do not know why I continue to do it."

"So you admit it then?" Benedict asked.

"Admit what?" Kathryn said.

"That you are lying and that something is bothering you," Benedict said.

"Well I supposed something is bothering me," Kathryn said.

"What would that be?" Benedict asked.

"Well my father wanted to speak to Anthony about something," Kathryn started.
