Mon Chéri,

To answer your questions, my favourite beverage is coffee, although my stomach doesn't respond well to that. And my favourite song is Warriors by Imagine Dragons. It was in a series I watched. And no, I am not a diary person. I have never written in diaries.

So. I am going to get released in two days. It's been seven months since the isolation period, and I am excited yet anxious to meet you. It's never been the same since the virus spread in Cargo, so it'll take me some time to get used to my life ahead. But thank you for writing to me every two days because without those letters I would've been so depressed.

I never thought I would say this to someone. I never thought I would fall for someone after everything, either. I think I love you more than you can think. And my heart is beating fast as I am writing this letter to you. I can't wait to see you again and annoy you as always.

I love you.

Ps. You love me back.

Bright.

(A/N: Chéri - Darling)

I purse my lips to keep myself from smiling in the middle of the cafe. I've been reading this letter since I received it from a soldier this morning. And it doesn't fail to make me blush every time I read it.

"Your coffee, sir." the bartender hands me the coffee, and I take it, remembering that Bright's favourite beverage is coffee as well. I should take him here after the release because the coffee here is no joke. It's the best.

I sip on my coffee as I leave the cafe. My destination is only a five-minute walk away. So I walk through the familiar streets toward the shop and stand in front of it in no time.

I look at the sign, 'Pets' as I walk inside. A guy greets me and asks me what I am here for.

"I am looking for a cat for adoption," I say.

"Okay. We have twelve cats in our adoption category right now. But you might want to look at the better ones over there. Although they cost money, they are better than the adoption cats." he says.

"No, it's okay. I want to adopt one." I say as I remember a letter Bright sent me.

Mon Chéri,

To answer your question, I used to have a Persian cat called Claire' I bought it for a good price. However, not long after, I came across a pet adoption centre and immediately regretted buying a cat for money. Not that I didn't love my cat, but those adoption centre cats looked really petty. They had no attention, nor did they have any care. So I adopted another cat while I had Miss Claire. I called him Mister Danny. He was so cute and lovable. So I like adopting cats better than buying.
