Life cannot get better.
Sitting across the table while watching my boyfriend talking excitedly with his friends as if nothing in the world hurts him now. When in fact, he has been hurt the most because of the chain of events that happened in his life.
"Eat this and stop talking." Dew pushes a salad leaf into Bright's mouth. He frowns at Dew while munching on it like a chipmunk.
"Yof dof nop hodf exigt i af-" Bright manages to say.
"Translation. You don't know how excited I am." I say to Dew, who looks at me surprised.
"How do you know??" he asks, surprised as ever.
"Lived with him one month," I say with a shake of my head. "So troublesome. Can I trade him now?" I ask, and our table blasts in laughter.
"You should be thankful I didn't bite you so you become a zombie," Bright says, pointing one of his chopsticks at me.
"You did bite me..." I mumble so low that no one hears me. (was talking about yesterday) But when I look at Bright I notice that he has obviously read my lips. So my cheeks flush, and I look the other way.
He takes out his phone and types something on it. My old phone, which I gave to him as he refused to have a new one and 'waste my money'. I get a notification on my phone, and I check, which is by him.
Baibai: You are so naughty.
Me: Heh. You want to bite me again?
Baibai: Not today. Not tomorrow. Day after tomorrow. I saw this morning that some marks are purple. They should heal first. Right?
Me: Talk about my chest! Not my neck!
Baibai: Yeah. It's sexy.
Me: THAT'S NOT IT. YOU LITERALLY BIT AROUND IT!!! THERE'S TEETH MARK.
Baibai: Serves you right.
Me: Should find another boyfriend.
I look around and motion at a guy with dyed white hair. Bright notices the guy and looks at me with a frown.
Me: I'll go out with him.
Baibai: You'll get a zombie bite.
"Eee. These two are flirting secretly." Love peeks into my phone before saying. So I quickly put the phone away, only to get teased by others.
"Hey, we need a lil privacy," I complain.
We continue eating while talking about this and that. It turns out everything in their lives seems to be falling into the correct places as they should be. They are still getting used to it.
