To get my mind off of what was going on, my roommates and I decided to go out on the town and do some shopping, sightseeing, and we would stop at a restaurant for dinner. Boys weren't allowed. After I came back to the dorm, the guys were still there, talking with my roommates. They all asked what happened, but I completely dismissed it by saying that I wanted to get away from the school for the evening. Of course, Min Ho was all for it. I had to shut that down.

"He was pretty bummed when you told him you just wanted to be with us," Becca said as us four young women walked down a sidewalk on a busy street in Seoul that was only one subway stop away from the school. The sun was setting, so people were starting to turn on the lights to the buildings, like the signs.

"Since he fancies you and all," said British Yuna. "I wish I was in your shoes, as far as the number of guys that are after you, and one of them is your teacher! And don't you dare contradict me since you know it to be true."

"It's shocking," I said, "but I have to believe you. That talk we had... why he couldn't tell me who he likes..."

"Because it's his beautiful blonde student," said Hae Mi. "Maybe, just tell him that you like him and agree to wait until after you graduate to start a relationship."

"And wait that long?" Yuna questioned. "That would be torture for the both of them. Also, Professor Finnerty could be fired by then for having feelings for a student."

"It's not against the rules to have feelings for a student, it's what he does about them," said Becca, and we stopped in front of a fishy-smelling restaurant. "If he confessed to Addison earlier, he would've gotten in trouble. It's actually good that he refused to reveal who he likes. I wouldn't want to see him go. He's my favorite teacher, and not just because he's young and hot."

"Hey, I thought you fancied Jamie," Yuna said.

"I do, but I can't help but notice other good-looking guys."

Speaking of that, a group of four Korean guys walked passed us and stared after us, and one of them gave me a wink. Yuna giggled. "I wouldn't mind taking one of them."

"Save your flirting for later," Becca said. "I'm starving. Let's eat here."

"Too fishy for my liking," I said. "How about there?"

I pointed to a place that showed various Korean dishes on the front, like bibimbap, dukkbokki, kimbab, kimchi chiggae...

"I like it," said Yuna. "Let's go."

We crossed the street and came to the restaurant and went in. The place was about half-way full with people sitting at tables. We choose to sit at one near the window, and a middle-aged Korean lady came and asked what we would like. Hae Mi told her that we would be a minute. She smiled, rattled off something in Korean as she was pointing to all of us, and left.

"What did she say?" I asked.

"She said we are all very pretty," Hae Mi said.

"I picked up a few words," said Yuna. "You know, my family that's here in Seoul said I should learn Korean since I am Korean."

"Guapo," said Hae Mi. I knew that word.

"That means you're the country's ethnicity, but you grew up somewhere else," I said as I looked at the menu. "I learned that in my Korean class. And good thing I can read Korean now."

"I thought Dae has been helping you with your Korean," said Becca.

"He has, but you know... it's a tough language to learn."

"It is," said Yuna. "I should've added Korean to my schedule. When I went out with my cousins during Chuseok, some grandma stopped and said something to me, but I had no idea what she was saying. She reprimanded me by saying that I should know how to speak Korean when I'm Korean. My cousin translated and then said that I'm a guapo."
