Chapter 24 - Path to darkness

After a long and resting night, the Delta Guardians wake up, the vessel walk outside after picking the sword and the shield, followed by Gerson who just picked his hammer, Anima join them excited to get to the next dark world.

Gerson-"So... we take the beam and improvise?"

The Angel looked at the moonlight beam lost in thoughts.

Angel-"Yes. I... Pardon me Gerson I don't remember the two last councilors so... no idea where to seek them... I do feel like the next crystal is somewhere.. but I can't say... what i feel through it..."

Gerson-"How it feels? Ocean? Forest?"

Angel-"Gerson... it is a dark world.... that is.... somehow... dark."

Player-"What?"

Gerson-"The dark world is darkness?"

Player-"Shouldn't they reflect some objects or theme of a room?"

Angel-"Yes... normally... but... I can't feel anything. It is very dim and I can't distinguish anything."

Gerson-"Does it have a sky? Ground color? The ambiance?"

Angel-"No sky. Dark... very dark brown path. It is... evil? I feel shivers and mischievous laughs."

Player-"Can it be... something like horror..... shivers and laughs....."

A-"I do think.. it is a place tied to.
... horror or considered as scary. But you mention, dark. Maybe an abandoned basement? But why laughs... who laugh in the dark..."

Everyone was wondering as they walk to the light beam.

Gerson-"there are many creatures that live in darkness and do noises.... like bats or owls.... we will see."

The quatuor entered the beam.

The guardians reappeared in the church, Anima was turned into a regular venician like mask with purples ribbons.

Player-"Oh.. so this is how she looks?"

Angel-"As a light world object, yes."

Kneeling, the angel take the mask with her armor gauntlet before walking along others outside...

Gerson-"So where is that next fount...."

Gerson stopped as dark clouds were in fact just near them in the right, after passing a metal arch with the deltarune symbol.

Player-"Hey... isn't that.... the cemetery... oh.... oh no.... no no no. I'm not going in."

Gerson-"Dark.... brown like dirt..... laughs? Oh... Angel. The laughs, can they be..."

Player-"But nothing talk in cemetery... there is.. no you don't think that...."

Angel-"The corpses......"

Gerson think a second.

Gerson-"Dark world turn object into darkners. Lightners see their appearance changed. But... dead bodies... no. It can't resurrect... Angel!"

Angel-"Corpses are considered.... objects. They are... special darkners that have lightner appearance."

Player-"Zombies? Or..  abominations?"

Angel-"Erhm.... I am a goddess I would never try anyway such disturbing thing to open a dark world in a room or a place where I put dead lightners..."

Player-"That would be weird."

Gerson-"I wish we didn't had to go in... but this is our destiny. Let's be strong. And let's dive in. Cough. Cough."
