Chapter 7 - A Cyber World

Player-"Are we in? Wow look at this!"

Gerson-"Who guessed an old leaf like me would see that."

Angel-"The second Dark World. Interesting theme."

What was in front of the trio, was very different from their first experience. Not a red leaves forest this time but an high tech electronic environment.

Several green paths was winding like wires to end in city full of lights. The powerful spotlights could be seen from where we are.

Along those paths, a lot of windows or screens. Windows... not like the one of your house. Windows like found in a computer. Screens... you see like those command prompts waiting for keyboard inputs.

The sky? It wasn't just black. It was animated by moving green lines forming squares, generating from the sky and moving down to the line of horizon.

Player-"Let's go. No idea where is the castle but there is a city over there! This is a good place to search."

As we progress, we noticed the Darkners had definitely a different appearance compared to the one of Spade King kingdom. But it makes sense right? The theme is different.

The path had from time to time conveyor belts, how convenient they were, we just had to let them move us.

We arrived an intersection with several windows along it, something wad stuck in one of them.

Angel-"Seems like animal. The poor thing."

Together, we pulled it from the belly to un-stuck it. The poor animal was moaning. After a few seconds we succeeded. "Meowmeowmeow" was saying the animal. Looking at it closely, I confirmed it was a cat.

Player-"Here you go little kitty. You are a good kitty."

The cat, that was white, with blue ears, eyes, paws and tails was made made of basic geometrical forms, square for the head, a rectangle body and triangle paws. After my comforting, it purred back and brushed itself on our legs. I just made a new friend?

The newly met and somehow themed cat was following is around, hissing at any foes who menaced us.

Which foes? Well, to start there was those electric fuzzy tall creatures with their beak stuck in suction cups... also those sharp angles pink little girls wearing a blue robe and holding tridents, reminding me somehow of imps.

And my favorite one so far. That cute cat. There were others like it, but they were occupied chasing tiny purple computer mouses.

We walked following those green metal paths with light post signs along them.
However, we reached rapidly an entrance to a roller coaster?

From the station, railways were going toward the city and naturally we thought "Why not?". Of course we like shortcuts.

Player-"What is it kitty? You are scared?"

Tasque-"Meowwww. Meow..... meow...."

Player-"Ok each one in a trolley, I take the cat with me."

We were now well installed in them as the attraction start, the speed was okay. It was a nice moment that I enjoyed, the wind generated was passing through the fur of the cat which seemed to enjoy it a lot.

Our trolleys were moving fastly forward as we came closer to the city.

We wasn't expecting to see in a fraction of seconds missiles aiming for us!

Gerson-"Watch out!"

Just had the time to cover my head down and protect the cat as one pass above me and end on the railways behind destroying them. Then second one was going for the Trolley of the Angel.
