Chapter 29 - The mysterious man

The adventurers goes down the staircases and arrives on a large dark metal bridge, the borders of the bridge are indicated by shy dim dark blue light blinking slowly. Strangely in that huge basement, feeling like a never ending abyss, wind is heard, or it is, sounds of waves?

Player-"I see a structure at the end of the bridge, let's just follow the light, we will be fine."

Anima-"So this is where that mysterious man is? In that weird empty dark basement?"

Fluffy-"This is the basement indeed also called the Abyss. This man is here because linked to heavy Darkness and dim light, he is kind of photosensitive and implied you know, with several operations tied to dark worlds. And you know, souls..."

Angel-"So, he is a kind of demon? How can he do such things?"

Fluffy-"I think it is better if you ask such questions to him directly, that building you see on the other side is his laboratory, base of operation, home, anything to him."

Gerson-"Impatient to meet him, I keep hearing all of you talking about him but never heard the voice or seen it... seems like an important person."

Player-"I did heard the mysterious voice but I don't think I saw him... apart if...."

Gerson-"You seen him?"

Player-"I saw a furtive figure outside with a black lab coat but I wait to see if it was the right person."

We were moving forward almost halfway on the bridge and we started to here rattles.

Player-"Oh no, not her again....."

I sighed heavily and facepalmed as I look behind along the rest of the group.

Helli-"Hi guys!~ It is Helli again... you didn't thought you would get rid of me do you? You are quite naughty and disrespectful refusing some love from a woman like me...

Maybe I should teach you a little lesson of obedience? To you and all your friends?"

Helli was little angry, she deployed her wings covering the wide of the bridge as she walk menacingly forward rattling her tail and whipping it around.

Angel-"You never give up hmm? Take this demon."

The Angel perform moves with her shadow mantle and summon light spears thrown to Helli as she casts a light shield over a part of the group. Helli shields with her wings and avoid damages but is knocked a little back.

Angel-"Ok let's go, move faster everyone... she will come back."

Our group moved as fast as we could but Gerson was still holding Fluffy and me Dess... we were finally arriving at the end of the bridge but we kept hearing roars from behind and Helli shouting she will get us, we arrived almost at the lab but a shadowy figure fell from the selling, a figure looking like a knight with a sword.

Kris-"Here we meet again."

Player-"You! Get aside! You have no idea what you got into! I know there is someone in there, in that body hearing me. It is not you! You are possessed! Kris wake up!"

I draw my sword like them ready to fight.

Kris-"All my actions were to cause destruction and bring the roaring. This pitiful world. But, I will save one, the Dark World of my master the Pawn. I will bring havoc and death upon all Dark Worlds and end the useless existence of all Darkners.

I am just offering them freedom, freed from your existence as a prisoners of worlds that only exist because a location in the light world allow a dark fountain to pour in it and shape the associated world. I will end this masquerade. As I scared the Darkners of the Card Kingdom, Froze the ones from Cyber World, burnt the ones from Techno World....
