After Mockingjay- Katniss and Peeta

Chapter 22: The big day

Katniss's P.O.V:

"Come on! Up! It's a big big day!!"

Well, that voise, 5 pm in the morning is the worst thing you could be exposed to.
And that voise clearly belongs to Effie Trinklet.

And the best day of my life begins.

In four?!? hours Effie, Johanna and Annie fixed my hair and makeup, now is the dress the last thing they put on me before the wedding.

"I forgot to ask you, but are you shaved?" Annie asks.

"Yeah, this morning." I say and nod.

"Good, you wont regret it." Johanna says and smirks.

"Like we haven't done it before." I mumble so they don't hear.

But today i just want to think about us. Peeta and i.
He is clearly nervous, i'm too but more excited and happy.
And after that we are on our way to the church.

Peeta's P.O.V:

Only five minutes left until the ceremony starts.
Five minutes until i can see my beautiful fianceé, soon my wife, and that thought make me smile like a fool.

I hear heel shoes turned against the floor and i turn aroumd and see Effie.

"I'm so happy for you too." She says am a tear escape from her eye and slowly runs down her cheeks.

"Thank you Effie." I say.

"And now it's time for you to go up to the stage, the music would start any minute now." She says amd smiles.

"Okay, thanks." I say and climb up to the stage.

The guests stands up and turn to the doors and the music starts.

The the doors opens and i see the most beautiful girl in the world walk in.

My wife in a few minutes.

She is so beautiful, her white dress wich is showing a little of her smooth legs, her hair in a braid but in a set on the back of her head.
It's like everything else disapear, fade away.
The time seems to stop while she walks on the aisle.
She has a big smile on her face and we look at each other deaply and i smile back at her.

Haymitch goes by her side and and i see a tear run down his cheek.
He immediately dries it away.

Soon they have walk down the aisle and they are only a few metres from me.

Haymitch take her hand and kiss it and take her hand into mine.
And i'm home.
I take her hand and i squeeze it a little.
We turn and the crowd sit down and the preist starts to talk.
I don't listen so much until it's time for us to repeat after the preist.

He turns to Katniss.
