After Mockingjay- Katniss and Peeta

Chapter 8: The plan

Katniss's P.O.V:

After a couple of hours i decided to head back to the town. Today i got 5 hares only. It has been a while since i was out in the woods and hunt. I've missed it.
And when i begin to think about it, i remember Gale. I haven't spoked to him since... Yeah, when the person who meant most to me died.

I try to stop thinking at that when i reach the town.
I look at my watch and i can see it is 6 pm. Peeta is home now, so i walked i little faster so he doesn't have to worry.

When i clamb into the house i see Peeta in the kitchen cook food.

"Hey." I simply say.

"There you are!" He says and runs up to me and hugs me.

"What?" I ask.

"I though you were gone!" He says and hugs me harder.

"I never gonna leave you." I say and break the hug and kiss him.

"Thanks." He says and kisses me back.

"Love you." I say.

"Love you too." He says between the kisses.

I break the kiss and say,

"So, now i am back and everything is fine, what did you do before i came here?"

"I did something to eat. Hungry?" He asks and smile.

"You don't have to ask." I say and smile.

He smiles and we begin to walk to the kitchen.

"Yes!! Lamb stew!! My favourite!" I yell happily.

We ate and just talked about some random stuff. But suddenly Peeta becomes serious.

"What is it?" I ask him.

"Today in the bakery, i saw a woman. She looked exatly like one of them who to-tort-.." He can't say the last word.
I understand him.

He starts to sob and shake. I walk up to him.

"Sh sh... Peeta i am here. If she wanted to hurt you, she would have done that. And i'm sure it wasn't her. It could just be someone who looked like her. Calm down Peeta, i'm here and i love you." I say trying to calm him down.

"No, it was her. She looked exatly as her. She is here to kill me. I promise you she will come to the bakery tomorrow with a gun and shoot me!! He cries.

"Peeta, shall we go to the police station?" I ask.

"She will know that, and then she will kill me even more!" He answers and cries even more.

"But we can just go somewhere. Just you and me. We maybe need a vacation. Then she will wonder if we have moved to another district. She will leave and later we can search her up where she is and Haymitch can help us go kill her. What about that?" I ask and look into his beautiful eyes.

"Do you want that?" He asks.

"Anything for you. We pack now and leave in the morning." I say and hugs him.

"I love you, Katniss." He says and hugs me harder.

"I love you too." I say

We dish and then we walked up to the bedroom.

"Are you sure you want to?" He asks and look at me.

"Absolutely. I promise you that everything's gonna be okay." I answer.

We pack our stuff and then we just lay in the bed hugging each other.
