Holly had always loved flying. She had dreamed of becoming a pilot since she was a little girl, and now here she was, at the helm of a plane full of passengers.
But her dream flight quickly turned into a nightmare as the plane started to nosedive. She tried to contact the control tower but her radio wasn't working. With a sinking feeling, she realized that she was on her own.
Her co-pilot, who had been silent nearby all this time, finally spoke up. "I knew women couldn't fly a plane," he said with a smirk.
Holly felt a fire rage within her. She wouldn't let this idiot's words break her spirit. She frantically started pushing buttons and pulling levers, and with a miraculous turn of events, the plane managed to pull away from its nosedive just in time. It had been close, too close. If they had not pulled away, they would have crashed into an orphanage.
Holly's co-pilot had been silent throughout the whole ordeal, and now, as the plane stabilized, he spoke again. "I always knew you could do it," he said. "I just said that earlier because you were giving up and needed some inspiration."
Holly was so angry she wanted to slap him, but instead, she leaned forward and kissed him. Everyone in the plane burst into applause, and Holly couldn't help but smile. She was proud of herself for trusting her instincts and saving everyone on the plane.
