Hope was sitting in her dorm room with friends when suddenly her phone began to buzz. She looked down to see a text from her mom asking her to check her latest Facebook post. Hope groaned, knowing that her mom was always posting cringe-worthy content. But when she pulled up the video of her mom rapping, she was mortified. The lyrics were cheesy and the beat was straight out of the 80s. As the video played on the big screen, Hope wanted to crawl under a rock and hide. But then something unexpected happened. Just as she was about to die of embarrassment, the beat changed and her mom cleared her throat. Suddenly, she began to rap with a clean, tight flow that was smoother than butter. And just when Hope thought things couldn't get any better, her favorite rapper hopped onto the beat. Everyone in the room was either shocked or nodding along to the video. Hope never knew her mom had such talent and she couldn't have been more proud of her. She was never ashamed to be a Taylor again. Sure, her mom's cheesy raps might have been a little embarrassing, but it was all worth it to see her mom shine on the big screen.
Double stories
Holly was having a terrible day. Work was stressful, her boyfriend had broken up with her, and to top it off, her favorite mug had shattered on the kitchen floor that morning. As she walked outside to take a breather, she saw her neighbor's cat perched on the fence post, singing loudly. Something inside her snapped, and without thinking, she grabbed a boot and threw it at the feline. But to her surprise, the boot did a back flip mid-air and landed on the ground, leaving the cat completely unscathed. The cat simply continued to sing, as if nothing had happened. Holly was bewildered and feeling a bit foolish. She looked around for another boot but couldn't find one. That's when a rock came crashing through the window and hit her in the head. Holly stumbled back, dazed, and looked outside. The cat was still there, singing innocently. She couldn't believe her eyes. Did the cat just throw a rock at her? Holly officially freaked out and made a mental note to avoid that feline at all costs. From that day forward, she never dared to cross paths with the singing cat again.
