Holly felt trapped, as if she was being punished for something she had already worked hard to change. She understood that her past actions were wrong and hurtful, but she wished that people would give her a chance to prove herself. Despite the rejection, Holly refused to give up. She continued to apply for jobs and even went back to school to further her education. She was determined to prove to the world that she was not the same person she was before. Eventually, Holly's hard work paid off, and she landed a job at a company that recognized her growth and potential.

Holly was fuming with anger as she listened to Lila's story. Luke had hit her friend and made her feel unsafe. It was not the first time someone had physically harmed Lila. Holly knew she had never once laid a hand on Lila, even when the police had arrested Holly. She couldn't believe that Lila was still with Luke after all he had done. Holly remembered the night she had been arrested. She had stayed calm and collected, but the police had treated her unfairly. They had not been there to keep her out of harm's way, and now she was left to stress about Lila's safety. Holly was worried about her friend and knew that she needed to find a way to be there for her. Holly felt trapped in the city she was in, and it made her sad that she couldn't be there for Lila when she needed her the most. She knew that if Lila ever wanted to be with Luke after this, it was because she loved him. Holly hoped that Lila would soon realize that she deserved better than someone who would hurt her. Nikki believed that she and Paul were destined to be together, which was why she had tried so hard to push Holly away. Despite Nikki's attempts, Holly's love for her remained unwavering. It was a painful time for Holly, as her life seemed to veer off track, leaving her feeling utterly helpless.
