Holly sat in the therapist's office, her eyes fixed in a mean glare. Carol, her therapist, asked her why she was so angry. Holly snapped and said that she wasn't angry. Carol retorted, asking her why she was in anger management. Holly responded that a judge had forced her to come. Carol followed up with another question, asking if that was why she was angry, because she didn't want to be there. Holly was getting visibly frustrated and once again insisted that she wasn't angry. She was shocked when she pulled out her gun, and Carol was equally shocked. Holly quickly realized what she had done and put the gun away. She apologized and said that she didn't know what came over her. Carol wrote down notes in her notebook while Holly got up and said that she should leave before something happened that was out of her control. Carol asked if it was because she was angry, and Holly saw red. She screamed at the top of her lungs that she wasn't angry and slammed the door on her way out. Carol made a note that Holly wasn't allowed to bring her gun to any more.

Holly hated therapy. It was a waste of time and money. But when her best friend Priya got her license, she figured she'd do her a favor. As she sat in the therapist's office, she couldn't help but feel like it was all a scam. When Priya asked her how she was doing, Holly asked for her money back. Priya explained that she had spent it on an elaborate therapy set up and that Holly might as well finish her hour. Holly's eyes wandered around the room, taking in the fake plants and the fake moustache hanging on the wall. Priya caught her deflecting and tried to steer her towards talking about her book. Holly wasn't interested, but Priya persisted. Priya asked if Holly was the Holly in her book. Holly denied it, but admitted that everyone had a little bit of Holly in them. Priya asked if Holly had created the character of Holly to tell fictional scenarios. Holly told her not to put air quotes around fictional. Priya asked if the scenarios were based on true events. Holly said no. As the hour came to an end, Holly couldn't help but feel like therapy was a waste of time.
