TRIGGER WARNING - SWEARING

This morning, I decided to skip ballet. Instead of that, I slept in. A noise suddenly startled me and made me wake up. I headed by my door holding one of my awards just incase someone broke in.

I swung open the door and quickly lifted the trophy above my head, before realizing it was Cameron. I screamed and so did he. "What are you doing in my house?!" I yelled. "I promise I'm not a creep! You left your wallet at the gas station!" He said.

"How did you find my apartment?" I asked, lowering my voice and my arms. "Your license has your address on it. I'm sorry if I scared you." He replies. "Well thank you? You could've called the police and turned it in." I say, annoyed and embarrassed. He sighs.

"I know, but I also know your address from when you paid at the cafe. Your card has it listed too." He says. "Just please don't break into my apartment again." I say. "No promises." He jokes. I laughed for a moment.

I heard an elevator ding and immediately knew that it was Marissa, she's home early. "Shit! Uh, I need you to hide!" I whisper. "What?" Cameron says in a low tone. "My roomate is home and if she sees you here, she'll freak out. Try hiding in my room." I suggested.

He went to my room and assumed he hid in my closet. Marissa opened the door and I tried to play it cool. "Well good morning." She says, greeting me. "Hey! Y'know we should go get some food! I heard they just opened a new restaurant nearby!" I say.

"No need! I ate at the studio." She replies. "I haven't eaten today though so we should go get something! Together!" I redirect her. "I brought leftovers." She says, proudly. Marissa goes to my door but I quickly grab the doorknob and stand in front of her.

"Why are you acting so weird, Lilly? I'm just trying to get my shirt. I think it got mixed with your clothes in the laundry." She says. "No need! My laundry is by the washer and dryer, you should just check there!" I say.

She scoffs and go downstairs to the laundry. After she left, I immediately walked to my bedroom and it was empty. A pebble hit my window so I looked down to see Cameron. I rolled it up and yelled down to him.

"You're gonna get hit by a car! Be careful!" I yell. "Aww, you care about me." He says, snarky. I roll my eyes and he walks away after looking back a couple times. I turned around and there's a note with his number on it. "Talk to me ;)" He wrote.

Marissa comes through my door. "Your laundry wasn't even downstairs!" She looks around my room and holds up my laundry basket. "It's right here!" She says.

"Sorry." I reply, shrugging but smiling.
