"Lilly! You need to get up!" Marissa yells from behind my door. "Come o—" She stops as she opens the door to see me awake and Eli still asleep in my bed. "Lillian. What is that boy doing here?" She whispers.
I laugh and go on with my morning. "No need for my full name. He just slept over, nothing bad." I say.
"You better wake him up because you two are going to be late to ballet." She says. "Ok, fine." I sayShe closes the door and I go sit beside Eli on my bed. I nudge him a little bit to get him awake. "Don't worry. I'm up, Lillian." He says. "You heard all that?" I ask. "Maybe just a little." We laugh together.
"Seriously though, get up, we're going to be late." I say. He finally rolls out of bed and starts getting ready. They have pointe shoes at our studio so he'll just borrow those.
We get into his car and he drives to the studio. We walk into the rehearsal room and start stretching. "First up, my swan duet." Our instructor says. He starts the music and we start dancing.
The ending comes with my Grande Jeté and I finally nail it. "Yes! Finally, Lilly. Good job, girls." He says. I smile and we run it again. A perfect run-through.
"Absolutely amazing. You girls can go sit down. Now for Eli's solo." He says. Eli gets up and he starts the music. He's perfect. On point with everything he does.
"Great, as always. Now for our group piece." After my part, I go sit down with Eli. "You did really good." We both say to each other. We smile and he looks in my eyes. "Can you two stop flirting!" Our instructor yells.
We whip our heads over to him and back away from each other. "Yikes." Eli whispers to me. I snicker and he smiles at me. "Do you want to stay over at my place tonight? I was thinking about maybe doing a movie night with some friends but they bailed." He says.
"Sure, that seems really fun." I reply. "Then, I'll see you tonight." He says.
