I ran upstairs and gave Noah his lunch in a paper bag with his name written on it. "Noah." He read out as he stared at the bag.
"It's lunch. You need strength to achieve your goals, good luck with soccer practice today." I said and ran back downstairs.
As I quickly grabbed mine and Vaughn's lunch I went outside and saw him waiting by a white Range Rover. I stopped to stare at the rover that looked beautiful and brand new, this must be very expensive, who has this? I found myself staring back at him. He wore white shorts, a plain black shirt and a black and white Jordan. Hot.
I walked up to him and he barely looked at me. "Get in."
I felt embarrassed as I walked to the other side of the car and got in. I put on my seatbelt and felt completely ready for my first day. My phone began ringing and I was very excited when I saw it was Erica calling, I quickly picked and I saw her walking to school.
"Hey chica."
"Hey." I said as I awkwardly stared at Vaughn making sure the call wasn't awkward to him. "Um, how are you?"
"How am I, since when did we ask each other that?"
"I just really want to know how you're right now." I interrupted her immediately before she says something that'll put us both in trouble.
"Chill bruhhh. I said I'm fine. How about those twins? Any of them your type or my type?"
I shut my eyes in embarrassment as I tried to absorb what just happened. I quickly turned the phone for Erica to see and she gasped. "Call you later. Bye." She said and cut the call and a second later she sent a sticker of a person sweating.
I wasn't sure if I heard well, but I'm almost too sure I heard him laugh a little.
We arrived at the school that seemed freakishly big, it was a 20 minutes drive so I'm think a 30-35 minutes walk. I placed his lunch on the bottle holder and hopped off the car. "What time do I meet you back here?" He was still looking at the bag confused... "I'll come by 3." I shut the door and walked into the school.
I'd completed my registration, known my schedule and my way around the whole school last week. So now all I had to do was go straight to my first class, which I did.
When I got into the class I heard a few murmurings and everyone stared at me, I realized quickly that it wasn't just me but Vaughn also.
I found an empty seat beside the window and quickly went for it. It wasn't less than a minute and the girl in front of me turned to introduce herself as Rachel and I was quickly amused. "Skylar." I said as I shook her hand.
Vaughn took the seat that was beside me and I assume he only did that cause he didn't want to sit in the front.
"What classes are you having this year?"
"Oh, um..." I brought out my schedule sheet and showed it to Rachel.
"I think this is definitely a sign that we're besties."
"Um.....sure."
"Don't freak her out." A whitish blonde guy said to her.
