'Wait what!?' Amy-Janette's best friend, Lily, screamed as the two of them walked on the pavement, going to the school they had gotten so used to by now. Everyone attended the same public school, every teenager knew the other and knew the other's family. Green Haven was a big happy family. 'You're telling me you finally like a boy!?'
'Yes I think so!' she confirmed to her friend excitedly.
'Wait who is it?' Lily tapped her chin. 'Is it Jaehyun? You finally like him!?'
'Eww,' Amy-Janette responded boredly.
'FYI, you're the only girl who finds Jaehyun eww here. Who is it then? Leehan?? Woonhak...?'
'Just stop,' she halted her friend immediately, not even wanting to imagine how it would feel if she liked the boys that were being mentioned.
'Then who is it!?'
'The new boy in town!'
Lily stopped in her tracks for a moment. 'What?'
'What?' Amy-Janett also stopped and looked at her friend behind her. 'You haven't seen him yet, you can't judge.'
'Well yeah I haven't seen him and that's not the point,' Lilly started to follow, the disappointment evident on her face. 'Why would you like someone you don't know?'
'He's so cute...'
'Jaehyun is cute.' Lily pointed out what everyone in town knew.
'I'm not done!' Amy-Janett hushed her. 'He's different too. Boys in this city are all the same...but he's not. He's so tender and probably doesn't care about fishing. He even dresses different.'
'And how the hell do you know all these things yet he's just moved into the city?' she felt annoyed by her friend's wistfulness. She probably thought he was an attractive stranger without knowing the kind of person he was, and it was disappointing for everyone who was rooting for her to be with Jaehyun. They were going to be the most epic couple.
'I can tell,'
'Yeah right,' Lily rolled her eyes skeptically.
'I'll show him to you at school. He'll probably be attending our school.' She clenched her chest which was clad in a purple dress. 'I'm so excited.'
'Yipee,' Lily commented sarcastically, rolling her eyes.

Taesan raced quickly, glancing at his watch. It was his first day of school and he was late. His mother had told him to rush, but for some reason he still ended up delaying. It wasn't anything new for Taesan, it was his usual habit.
When he finally saw the school a short distance, he sighed in relief. He walked quickly and finally pushed the doors open, entering a hallway much narrower than that of his old school in the city.
The hallway was littered with so many students, and it made his disappointment worse. He didn't want to grab too much attention. He had ran so quick that he had made it on-time, with some time remaining before classes started.
He sighed, he didn't even have his locker yet. He looked at everyone in the hallway, and he looked like someone who hadn't been told the dress code. All the boys were in wore plaid shirts or themed T-Shirts, blue jeans and a pair of work boots. The girls mostly wore beautiful patterned summer dresses.
Taesan looked like a foreigner in his black hoodie, dark jeans and a pair of sneakers. He had caught so much attention and all the students were peering at him.
Keep your head down, don't make eye contact, don't draw attention, he thought to himself as he made his way.
'There he is.' Amy-Janett said to Lily, clutching her books against her chest as she watched him. He was completely unique, and she could notice him from a distance away in the city of copy and paste.
