"Ricky, has your friend said anything about his friend lately?" Zhang Hao asks him. "Is he willing to talk to me about the marriage thing?"

"I don't know." Ricky shrugs. "Gyuvin said that his friend is unsure these days." He tells him. "He said that ever since he got his heart broken over a year ago, marriage or dating in general has been a big no no for him."

"Oh." Zhang Hao nods. "Does this mean I'll have to look for someone else? I really need to adopt Yujin soon." He sighs. "It gets worse for him every day."

"Maybe wait a few more days?" Ricky suggests. "Gyuvin's friend really needs the money... So even if he doesn't want to, I think he'll have to get married."

-

"Two part time jobs..." Hanbin sighs. "And for what?" He puts his face in his hands as he realizes he doesn't have enough money for the two months worth of rent or other bills he has to pay.

It feels like these days everything keeps getting worse. Not to mention that his mom keeps stealing the money he works so hard for. He hid it somewhere he thought she wouldn't be able to find it, but she found it anyway.

"I'm so tired of this." Tears roll down Hanbin's cheeks. "What should I do?"

'We wouldn't be poor if you just got married.' His mother's words cross his mind over and over again.

'Hanbin, you know I can help you. If you need money, I can-' He remembers what Matthew told him.

'I don't need your money.'

He remembers how cold he sounded when he talked to Matthew... but there's no other way he can talk to him now. Matthew hurt him and even though Hanbin loves him, he's aware that he shouldn't go back to him.

But the thought of him being the one he marries, keeps crossing his mind. And he can't help but think that maybe they'd be able to live happily if they got back together and got married.

He takes his phone out of his pocket and goes to his contacts list. He still has Matthew's phone number. His contact name is 'Matt <3' because Hanbin doesn't dare to change it.

Just as he's about to call Matthew, he stops himself and goes up his contacts list, then ends up calling Gyuvin instead.

"Hanbin... hey." Gyuvin answers nervously since he thinks Hanbin's mad at him for telling Matthew about his financial problems.

"Are you working right now?" He asks him.

"Uhh... yeah... why?"

"With Ricky, right?" Hanbin takes a deep breath before continuing. "Could you ask him if his friend would still be able to talk to me? About the marriage thing?"

"Oh... yeah, sure. I'll ask him." Gyuvin immediately sighs in relief once he realizes Hanbin's not mad at him. "You're not mad at me?"

"Why would I be?"

"Because I told Matthew about what you're going through..." Gyuvin tells him. "I'm sorry. It kind of just slipped out."

"It's fine, Gyu. I know you two are still friends." Hanbin tells him. "Just don't let this happen again, please."

-

When Hanbin gets to the café, he realizes how stupid all of this sounds. Is he really here to talk to a stranger about marriage?

"But it's fake, so it's okay." He whispers to himself and takes a deep breath. "We'll get divorced not too long after."

"Are you Hanbin?" He hears a voice behind him once he's sat at a table. He immediately turns around and stands up.

"Hi... yes, I'm Sung Hanbin. Are you Zhang Hao?"

"I am." He nods. "Can I sit?"

"Of course." Hanbin nods before sitting back down. Zhang Hao sits down across from him and takes his jacket off before putting it on a chair beside him.

"So Hanbin... I think it's best if we talk about ourselves first..."

"Right." Hanbin nods. "Well... my name's Sung Hanbin. I'm 21 and I'm a college student. I work two part time jobs since... as you may know... I'm struggling financially at the moment."

"Yeah, I heard about that." Zhang Hao nods. "Well... I'm Zhang Hao. I'm 22 and I'm also currently a college student. I'm not working at the moment since I quit my job recently. I want to focus on school the most right now."

"Oh." Hanbin nods. "I heard you want to adopt your little cousin..."

"I do." Zhang Hao nods. "He's the only family member I have left... or so it seems."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, when I was younger..." Zhang Hao starts. "When I was 15, I ran away from home since my parents treated me really badly. My aunt and her husband ended up taking me in since I was really close to them ever since I was little. Yujin was born around two years after that, so I've known him and cared about him since he was a newborn." Zhang Hao tells him. "But now... my aunt and her husband are gone... which means my cousin Yujin only has me... And I only have him as well."

"Oh... I'm sorry for asking." Hanbin immediately apologizes when he notices Zhang Hao's watery eyes. "It's more serious than I thought it was."

"No, it's okay." Zhang Hao shakes his head. "We have to know a little more about each other before deciding whether or not to get married... right?"

"Right." Hanbin nods. "Well... to tell you the truth." He starts. "Things with my last boyfriend didn't end in a good way, which made me really stop believing in love. After that, I never ever thought I'd end up even thinking about dating... much less about getting married... but I'm so desperate right now, you know? I just can't seem to find another way out."

"Yeah... I get what you mean." Zhang Hao sighs. "I'm really desperate too. There's no other way out for me either."

"Should we talk about what conditions our marriage is going to have?" Hanbin suggests.

"Wait... so are we really getting married?" Zhang Hao asks him. Ricky told him Hanbin was still undecided, but it seems like he made up his mind.

"Yeah, I don't see any other way out." Hanbin nods. "Do you want to go along with this?"

"Yeah." Zhang Hao nods. "I brought a notebook and some pens." He takes them out of his bag.

He then rips a paper out of his notebook and hands it to Hanbin, then gives him a pen. They both start writing until they hear voices behind him.

"Hello, I'm here!" Ricky tells Zhang Hao as Gyuvin walks behind him.

"We came as your lawyers." Gyuvin tells them.

"Yeah, we'll read through your contracts." Ricky sits down next to Zhang Hao. "By the way, I'm Ricky. Nice to meet you." He shakes Hanbin's hand.

"Hi, I'm Sung Hanbin."

"And I'm Kim Gyuvin. Hanbin's best friend." Gyuvin tells Zhang Hao and she asked his hand.

"Oh, hi. I'm Zhang Hao."

"Alright, so write your conditions down so we can get to the signing part." Ricky tells them. "We'll be the witnesses of the contract."

"Alright, I'll write something and Zhang Hao can add any other conditions he would like." Hanbin starts writing on a piece of paper. He then looks up at Zhang Hao.

For some reason, Zhang Hao looks familiar.
