Sixteen

As Hanbin, Zhang Hao, and Yujin are watching a movie, the doorbell rings, making Hanbin get up to go answer it. Who could it be? No one told him they were coming over. He sees it's Gyuvin, Matthew, Ricky, and Jiwoong, so he quickly opens the door.

"Oh, hey guys." Hanbin smiles at them. "You didn't tell me you were coming over."

"We brought some snacks. What were you guys doing?" Ricky asks as they all walk into the house.

"Oh, we were just watching a movie." Hanbin tells them. "Zhang Hao and Yujin are in the living room."

"Alright." Ricky, Jiwoong, and Gyuvin walk into the living room, but Matthew stays behind with Hanbin.

"Where's your kitchen so I can put the snacks down?" Matthew asks Hanbin as he's holding a few bags.

"Oh, there was no need to bring anything." Hanbin takes the bags from him. "The kitchen's over here." They walk into the kitchen and Hanbin puts the bags down on the counter. "Oh, you brought my favorite snacks." Hanbin smiles when he notices. "Thanks, Matthew."

"Yeah, no problem." Matthew smiles at him. "Could you tell Zhang Hao to come here real quick?"

"Zhang Hao?" Hanbin asks, confused. "For...?"

"It'll be quick. I just have to talk to him about something."

"Okay..." Hanbin is confused as to what Matthew could possibly want to talk to Zhang Hao about, but he goes get him anyway.

"You wanted to talk to me?" Zhang Hao asks, confused, as he walks into the kitchen. Hanbin stayed in the living room. 

"Yeah, are you planning to do anything for Hanbin's birthday?"

"Hanbin's birthday?" Zhang Hao can't hide his confused expression.

"Yeah, his birthday's in two days... You didn't know?" Matthew asks, confused. They're married. How could he not know?

"No, it's not that." Zhang Hao shakes his head. "Of course I knew that. I've just had a lot on my mind these days. I had forgotten what month we were in."

"So... are you doing anything for his birthday? Maybe a party or something? But I understand if you just want to have a family day that day."

"No, I think a party would be a good idea." Zhang Hao nods. "Family days are everyday for us. His birthday should be even more special."

"Okay, so then give me your number so we can stay in contact. Gyuvin and I can come help you decorate the house while Hanbin's out."

"Okay." Zhang Hao gives him his number.

"Alright, I'll text you later then." Matthew walks out of the kitchen.

Zhang Hao just stands there. How did he never think of asking Hanbin for his birthday? They've been married for almost a month now and he didn't know something as important as this? 'Hopefully Matthew didn't get suspicious.' He thinks to himself and walks out of the kitchen.

As soon as he walks out of the kitchen, he sees Hanbin and Matthew are talking in the hallway. How could he ever compete with Matthew? Hanbin clearly still loves him. It shows in the way he looks at him. He looks at him with so much love in his eyes. There's probably no way he'll ever get over him. He may treat Zhang Hao ways that make his heart flutter, but at the end of the day, it's just to make it believable for others.

Zhang Hao touches his chest. Why does his heart hurt? He can't fall for Sung Hanbin. All of this is fake. Even in the contract, one of the conditions was to not fall in love. Zhang Hao quickly walks back into the kitchen and takes a few deep breaths.
