Hanbin scoffs in disbelief as his mother is holding onto Gunwook's hand. Gunwook's father let's go of Gunwook's hand, but Hanbin doesn't.

"What are you doing here?" Gunwook's father yells at her as she rolls her eyes and looks down at Gunwook. "Wookie... do you miss mommy?" She asks him as Gunwook stays quiet.

Hanbin rolls his eyes in disbelief and his hands turn to fists. There's no way she's seriously doing this after how she treated him in the past to the point that she lost custody of him.

"You'll be living with me soon, don't worry." She tells him, still holding onto his hand. A tear rolls down Gunwook's cheek and he pulls his hand away from hers, before hiding behind Hanbin. Hanbin can't help but feel his heart break. Gunwook is scared. This is too much for a little kid to go through.

"Hao, could you take the kids to the park?" Hanbin turns around and sees Zhang Hao with a worried expression. The park is only a few minutes away, so it's not too far.

"Yeah, I'll do that." He nods and reaches for Gunwook's hand.

"You are not taking him anywhere! Gunwook, come here!" His father yells and tries reaching for Gunwook. Gunwook covers his ears as more tears start rolling down his face. He hates it when his father drinks. He hates it when his father yells at him.

"The three of us need to talk." Hanbin stops him and Zhang Hao walks away with Yujin and Gunwook.

"Oh, so now you want to talk to your mother?" His mom rolls her eyes and checks her watch. "I have to get going. I don't have the time to talk right now."

"I suggest you make some time then." Hanbin tells her.

"Mother?" Gunwook's father scoffs. "Oh, so that's what this was." He rolls his eyes. "You better bring Gunwook back here right now! I don't want him associated with either one of you." He starts walking towards the direction Zhang Hao and the kids just went in, but Hanbin stops in front of him.

"What's that supposed to mean? You're not necessarily being a good father to Gunwook right now. You have no room to talk."

"Which is why I'll get my son back. I'm well off now. He'd be better off living with me."  His mom tells them.

"There's no way I'll allow that." Hanbin shakes his head. "Both of you have been horrible parents to Gunwook. I feel so bad that not even one of you could be a good parent towards him. What did he do to deserve this?"

"So? What's your plan? You want to adopt him?" She smirks.

"What? How did you know?" Hanbin's eyes widen. "Have you been stalking me or something?"

"Oh, how could a mother stalk her child?" She laughs.

"You did! You knew that was my plan and that's why you suddenly came and pretended you cared about Gunwook?! So now you want his custody just so I don't have a chance to adopt him?! Do you realize how evil you are, mother?"

"Well, regardless of what you think or say, I'm still his mother at the end of the day. You're just his brother. As long as I'm alive, I'll never let you adopt him, Sung Hanbin."

"And who says I'll let either one of you be around Gunwook? May I remind you that I'm the one who has custody of Gunwook?" Gunwook's father tells them.

"That's not something you'll keep for much longer." She looks him up and down. "Considering you have become an alcoholic who can't take care of a child. That's the exact reason the custody got taken from me back then."

Hanbin looks back and forth at them as they both start yelling at each other. He can't believe what they're saying. Are they even hearing themselves?

"Can you two stop?" Hanbin asks them, trying to stay calm. "Since you're both here, I'm just letting you know that there's no way I'll let Gunwook live with either one of you. Let's take this to court if you still refuse to let me adopt him. We'll let a judge decide what's best for Gunwook, but I won't give up on adopting him without putting up a good fight."
