"Who should read their conditions first?" Gyuvin asks them."I'll go first." Hanbin puts the pen down and looks down at his paper. "We should get married right away, but not live together until we adopt your cousin. We should also be able to see other people since our marriage isn't real... and lastly, no real feelings should be involved. This is all just going to be a win-win situation, nothing more. We should get divorced after five months." He finishes reading from his paper. "Your turn now." He tells Zhang Hao.
"Oh..." Zhang Hao turns his paper over so the words can't be seen. Ricky gives him a confused look. He had read everything on his paper already. Everything Hanbin had just said, was the opposite of what Zhang Hao had just written.
For example, Hanbin said they should still be able to see other people, but Zhang Hao wrote that they shouldn't be able to. He knows this will be a fake marriage, but still...
"It's like you read my mind." He laughs nervously. "That's exactly what I wrote."
"Really?" Hanbin gives him a small smile. "I'm glad we think alike."
"Yeah." Zhang Hao nods and as Ricky's about to say something, Hao kicks his leg. "But I would like to add some things..."
"What is it?"
"Well... if you do end up seeing other people when we're married, please don't bring them home to... you know." Zhang Hao says.
"Oh, no. Don't worry about that." Hanbin shakes his head. He just put they could see other people as a condition... just in case, but he doesn't think he'll see other people anyway.
"And please don't tell Yujin that our relationship is fake."
"Oh, alright." Hanbin nods as Gyuvin starts writing Zhang Hao's conditions on the paper. "But may I ask... why can't we tell Yujin the truth?"
"Well... he's only five... and I don't want him to think I felt forced to get married because of him. He's just a kid. He wouldn't really understand."
"Okay." Hanbin nods. "We won't tell him then."
"Thanks." Zhang Hao gives him a small smile. "I also think it'd be a good idea to add more conditions in the future as long as we're both okay with it."
"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea." Hanbin nods and Gyuvin writes it down.
"Alright. Time to sign it. All the conditions are written down." Gyuvin tells them. "You can read it over to make sure you agree with everything." He hands the paper to Zhang Hao.
Zhang Hao looks down at the paper and reads it all over. Although he doesn't agree with all of the conditions written down on it, he signs it anyway, then hands it to Hanbin so he can sign it. Hanbin also signs it and Zhang Hao steals some glances at him.
'It looks like you don't remember me, Sung Hanbin.' Zhang Hao thinks to himself as he watches Hanbin write on the paper.
~One year ago~
"Why did I have to come?" Zhang Hao asks Ricky and frowns. "You know I hate going to the parties all the popular kids go to."
"I know that... but I thought that maybe you'd have fun this time. Not only popular kids were invited."
"Fine... I'll try to have fun." Zhang Hao nods. "I'll go get something to drink."
After a few drinks, Zhang Hao is absolutely drunk. He has no idea why he would drink so much even though he knows he gets drunk so quickly.
As he's about to walk out of the kitchen, he ends up bumping into someone. Zhang Hao is drunk, but this guy is even more drunk than him. As the guy tries to walk past Zhang Hao, he ends up tripping, so Zhang Hao quickly takes his arm.
"Why would you drink so much?" Zhang Hao mumbles as he tries helping him towards a chair.
"I hate everything." The guy mumbles and rests his head on the table.
"You what?" Zhang Hao asks, confused, and sits down next to him.
Zhang Hao can't help but notice how good looking this guy is. "H-he broke my heart." The guy cries. "I absolutely hate him."
"He broke your heart? Who are you talking about?" Zhang Hao asks him, not realizing that this guy is so drunk to the point he might start hallucinating any minute from now.
"Y-you broke my heart." He points at Zhang Hao. "Matthew... wh-why would you do that to me? To your Hanbin?" He looks up at Zhang Hao, barely being able to keep his eyes opened. "I shouldn't love you, but I still do... I'm such an idiot." He starts hitting his head on the table, but Zhang Hao quickly puts his hands on the table so he hits his head on his hands instead.
"Stop." He repeatedly says. "What do you think you're doing?"
"Matthew..." Hanbin takes Zhang Hao's hands in his as he cries.
"I'm not your Matthew." Zhang Hao tells him, but Hanbin's way too drunk to understand.
"I'm sorry for not being good enough for you." Hanbin pulls Zhang Hao in for a hug. "But I still love you so much."
"I'm not Ma-" Zhang Hao starts, but stops when Hanbin cups his face. Zhang Hao's eyes widen when he sees Hanbin start to lean in, placing his lips on top of his. Zhang Hao ended up kissing him back since he was also too drunk to realize what he was doing.
~Present time~
Ever since that day, Zhang Hao became really curious of Hanbin. He ended up finding out that he was one of the popular kids at school and used to date a guy named Matthew. Even though Zhang Hao really wanted to talk to Hanbin after that day, he never got the courage to do so.
But it looked like Hanbin didn't even remember meeting him. He clearly mistook him for Matthew that time.
Zhang Hao remembers everything that happened, but it seems like Hanbin doesn't.
