CHAPTER 02: MIDST OF CHAOS
The Gallery was immediately closed.
He insisted we should stay even though I have no idea why I was included.
They were all perplexed as to what was going on, but when they saw the blood that was still dripping down the sculpture, they instantly understood.
“Did you call the police?” Mr. Gueverra asked.
“Yes, we already called sir” the female staff beside me answered. She was shaking nervously.
He exhaled deeply. “What the hell is going on?
“Sir!” the manager's secretary was running towards our direction while holding their phone.
His loud voice echoed in the hall that sent shivers down to my spine. Nakakatakot pala magalit ang manager nila.
“Sir Gueverra, may dumating kanina na pick up truck.
“There's no sculpture that was supposed to arrive today nor last week” wika ng sekretarya ng manager.
“So, who did this?” tanong ng manager.
He cast his eyes over to the staffs.
No one dared to speak up.
They averted their gazes.
All of them remained silent.
