Epilogue

The skin on the pads of her fingers were rubbed raw. They had a bright pink color, just like the skin at her wrists. The ones she scratched at. Trying to take her mind off of things.

Her brown hair was now dirty and matted with all the weeks and months she went without washing it. The skin around her eyes sagged with the exhaustion, her craziness taking her long into a despair that was unknown to the sane.

"Get up, Espinosa," the guard said as he grabbed her arm, pulling her from the white tile ground. She was exhausted, she leaned heavily on her supporter. The guard grimaced at her touch, not wanting anything to do with the crazy girl.

Melissa feared the outcome of this now. She didn't want to think about how this meeting would go. She didn't want to think about anything. But him.

His smile. That cheeky grin he had that was unresistable. His eyes, they crinkled whenever he did smile. His body, perfect and fit. His hair, curls in the right way everywhere.

Melissa loved him. So, why did people keep them apart?

They say because he doesn't love her back, but obviously he does love her if he asked for this meeting. Right?

Jack Gilinsky sat at the white fold out table, twidling his thumbs, wishing he was Vine. No mobile devices were allowed so he just sat and thought. The one thing he didn't want to do.

He didn't want to think about the bad outcome that this meeting could have. Anything horrible they had should be left in the past.

"Melissa," he stood as he said her name, the chair scooted back making a squeaking noise on the tile. They both cringed at the noise then fell into an awkward silence as they stared at each other.

"Sit," Gilinsky finally said and they both sat across from each other. He took in Melissa's appearance and still thought she was beautiful.

"So...how have you been?"

That's it. That's the end. I know you guys probably want to kill me now because I left it on such a cliffhanger and I love cliffhangers. And plus, I started it with the two of them so it's gonna end on the two of them too. The excitement to so amazing. I'll continue it in a third book if this chapter gets 50-100 votes. So, get to voting.

Please, don't judge my writing of the series. At the beginning I was very, very fetus. Please excuse all my mistakes.

If I do make another book, it'll be much better writing and only about Melissa and Gilinsky so any other character will be small. Which means no ALOL :( .
