A/N POV

"Ok, so, if we take HCl here and CaO here, we don't get a complete reaction which means, we'll have to take... 2HCl. Ok..."

Sapphire solves the chemical reaction loudly with Daeyeon and as they're both writing it down, she notices that Jeongin is in his place, not even moving a finger, let alone his pen. She smacks him on the head with her pen to get him to focus on studying since he has tests coming up soon.

"Yah! Pay attention! These are important for the exam! You're gonna fail otherwise!"

"Ouch!"

He winces in pain, rubbing his head because of the small and sudden attack before fixing his posture and bending to write. His sulkiness, however, stays. She and Daeyeon, both look at him closely for a moment before exchanging confused glances.

"Babe, is everything alright?"

Daeyeon questions, to which Jeongin sighs first, putting his pen down. He fixes his posture and says,

"I don't know, Dae! I called Beomyu, texted him, and stood in front of his cabin for almost 15 minutes; knocking continuously! I even called his name... I literally shouted but he just won't open the door! Something's wrong! He's not ok and I just can't seem to find a way to reach out to him! Ugh!"

He says and lowers his head, running his hands through his hair and letting out a huge sigh.

"Innie, it's ok. Don't stress, please. Maybe he's not doing well today. Maybe he needs some time alone after hearing about his condition. You've seen me in that phase. You know how I reacted. Don't worry, please. I'm sure he'll be fine. Just let him be alone for a while but keep checking up on him. Try to text or call or whatever... Just keep in touch. Ok?"

Jeongin nods softly, looking up and fixing his gaze on her for a brief moment. She closes her notebook and book and starts putting them back in place.

"Let's wrap up for today. Who wants to watch a movie?"

She asks with a smile, earning one from both of her besties who had their hands raised.

"I'll go get some snacks from the convenience store nearby. You two pick a movie to watch!"

Daeyeon says, standing up and zipping her hoodie before heading out. Jeongin and Sapphire start going through Netflix to pick up a movie and they finally settle on a Studio Ghibli movie. Even though it was a movie that came out a while ago, the trio hadn't watched it but they really wanted to. So, the two friends figured that this was going to be the perfect movie. After Daeyeon comes back with a huge bag full of snacks, they take their positions with Sapphire in the bed, Jeongin on the couch, and Daeyeon on the floor in a half-laying position with an extra blanket under her body and an extra pillow under her head. Before the movie starts, the two teens text their parents asking to stay over for the night since it's Sunday tomorrow, anyway. Unsurprisingly, they get permission since it was Sapphire who they were staying with. Halfway through the movie, Sapphire and Jeongin could hear Daeyeon snoring and they couldn't help but laugh. Jeongin takes a few pictures, just for the sake of teasing her later. Sapphire makes a few funny poses, sitting beside the sleeping girl and Jeongin clicks those pictures as well. He starts looking at them to see how they turned out and after seeing through all of them, he just lets out a sigh, starting to feel guilty all of a sudden.
