The night of any night where Miles Morales, the one and only Brooklyn's spider-man fight villains, catch criminals. "Look, look, i know you're angry but this isn't the right--"

Bam! its tail has smashed his abdomen, causing him to fly off the unfinished building, "You broke it!" the gigantic armadillo roared, throwing every bit of concrete towards him. "It... it was an accident! I'm sorry!" Miles says roughly, dashing across him whereas his objective was to body slam, not a great idea for someone who's about 10 times larger than miles of course, though he managed to grab its tail. "We can buy a new one!" he shrugs, "it was my mother's! she handed it to me," now the giant armadillo sobbed in anger, this was all the cause of an action figure.

A skin-liked dragon, thick and bold, the spider-man got to stick its web and run in circles, putting him in a wrap, he then used his electric current to run through the web, the armadillo instantly passes out. He hanged it in the nearby city for cops to easily catch. "Sorry 'bout your toy buddy, I'll get you a new one." He tapped the shell of the giant armadillo and swung to a nearby building.

He does what he usually does during the night, fight villains, catch criminals then leaving those tiny stickers behind. He hurriedly swung, bumping into a couple of buildings. Finally reaching his dorm, he slowly slides the window open and climbed inside, glancing at his roommate who was sleeping, he quietly unzips his suit then noticed the excessive blood on the suit, a huge wound spread across his left leg, he quickly covered his torso with a small jacket. "no no no no no" he repeatedly huffed and almost panicked as he covered it up with a bandage.

         --- Time skip ---

Y/N tied her hair up and left the two strands to rest at the side of her cheek, she grabbed her books and walks to class, bumping into Miles Morales, her height was about to his collarbone, she accidentally dropped her books as he catches it, Y/N was quite impressed at how fast the books were to get caught, she looked down to notice his shoelaces were untied. "Woah... careful there... what's your name again? y/n right? yeah I've seen you a lot, not like, in a creepy way, just-you know... I'm pretty observant" he chuckled,

"Yeah, and you are... Miles, right?" she says unconfidently, "you know... my name," he said it in a rather surprising tone, as if nobody knows him before. "Please! who doesn't know you! oh-- oh-- remember that time where that blonde--" she was in the almost rambling until she has been cut off.

"Okayyy.. that's nice" he coughed before continuing his sentence, "see ya around?" he raised an eyebrow, he hands her book and walked away in embarrassment, y/n felt slightly guilty, I mean who wants their past to be remembered... right? She heads to class and hears light footsteps coming from the door, it was Miles... didn't know he'd have the same class as you, "Miles, you're late. Again"

"Einstein said time was relative right? Maybe I'm not late. Maybe, you guys are early..." what was he trying to achieve? Y/N had to laugh, in result for everyone to face her, she covered her mouth then, "Sit down Mr. Morales" ordered the teacher as he sat right beside you, he waved shyly, and she smiles at him in return. "Your joke... it was pretty funny." you whispered to him as the teacher shushed both of you. (I know this is unoriginal but i love his corny jokes... so i had to put that inside lololoolol)

The teacher continued the presentation, presenting Doctor Olivia Octavius, the criminal mastermind who did illegal tests and experiments, y/n takes out her books and focused on the lesson, though the school was for the rich, for the smarts, she somehow got lucky... the beginning of the year, it was terrible for her, she managed to adapt pretty fast, y/n came from a small town. She lived there along with her grandparents, uncle, aunts, nephews and cousins, then a day came where her father had a new job in Brooklyn, working in some new and rich company.  It was all so fast, one day she's in school and the next she isn't, she never had problems with her family, since recently, her father has been busy with his work, usually he would treat her, and her sibling small snacks or pizza after work. Now he's barely home. Barely there anymore, which was quite hard for her since she's closer to her father than her mother.

"Y/n?" she heard a distant whisper, then snapped back to reality, "Yeah?" she finally answered.

"Wanna grab lunch with us?" her red-headed friend asked, "oh yeah, sure, sure, give me a minute" she packed her books then head to the cafeteria, choosing her meals, a milk carton, and a sliced sandwich, she held her food tray roughly as she walks, "so? any updates??" her red-headed friend asked, named Jelina.

"Nah... not really... " Y/n responded dryly, "Come on! Y/n! You've been here for about 5 months, and you still haven't found anyone yet? not even someone who's a bit-- at least a bit attractive" she paused, her eyes dilated after an image popped into her mind, the encounter between her and Miles earlier. "I guess... there could be someone I might've found slightly attractive."

"Who is it?" Jelina beamed, "M--"

"Mark? Marcus? Mank? Mandey?" Jelina interrupted, people really had a listening problem in this school, cutting off everyone mid-sentence. "Jelina" Harper stopped her from continuing, Harper was the most mature and had that girl boss energy, she'd only join in conversations if it mattered to her, and could care any less about anything else, the only thing she'd cared about was her grades and to top it off, she was extremely talented. Y/n dreamt to be just like her, not to care about things that never mattered to her. Although Jelina was the most outgoing with the bubbly personality amongst the girls.

"Miles," Y/n flushed, "But there's no way we would work, I mean I'm y/n and he's Miles! Miles Morales!!

"Seems a normal boy to me" Harper finally joined in the conversation whilst Jelina was surprisingly being extra quiet, Jelina was admiring y/n's rambling about her so-so tiny crush on Miles Morales, the bell rang leaving everyone rushing to their classes. "Anyway, tell me more later, okay? See ya girlies!" Jelina waved, leaving Harper and y/n alone. Neither of them was conversation starters, it's usually Jelina that do most of the work, she walked Harper to class and continued to hers.

Ending the day with a small snack, she decided to call her parents, in shock nobody answered, she became somewhat worried, did they forgot about me already? she still hasn't gotten used to being apart from her family, with her family, it felt like she belonged, belong to the world.
