Y/N L/N

Enough overthinking, maybe I just need to refresh my mind, it's just school and everything else, after moving to this stinking place, things had to go downhill. I wore my sweater and cargo pants, wearing a baseball cap and grabbed my skateboard, not forgetting my headphones I pulled my hood up and sneaked out. Riding my skateboard to the streets, finding a small skatepark-- kind of... It had concrete blocks and a small ramp. The so-called skatepark had dim lights but I still can see. I hope.

A few hours had gone by until I heard something in the corner, pulling my headphones down as I squinted my eyes,

"Spider-man?" I ask, "can you help me back here?" he said, seemed to be that he's stuck, I got closer to see him wrapped in his own web, what a mess, did he perhaps do that to himself? I tore his webs apart, which took a while, "What happened?" I ask,

"I had a fight, typical night for a hero" he bragged, I expected him to leave but to my surprise, he didn't. I sat on the side of the skating ramp, "You're new, huh? I mean like, I've never seen you here before so it's not like I go to your school or anything, so you don't need to be creeped out, 'cause there's totally nothing creepy about me, don't worry I'm not a 30-year-old man that's into 14-year-old girls-- wait-- that's not what I-- "

"Yeah, was here 5 months ago..." I scooted a little further from him, feeling a bit weirded out and laughed a bit... so it wouldn't get as awkward as I thought it'll be, though I probably made it worse.

he grimaced,

"What are you doing here? Don't you have to do superhero work?" I finally started, "A little break before I go off and catch some bad guys" he answers, stretching his fingers, " y'know the big guy just now almost broke my leg... that was one tough guy, wouldn't know when to quit" then he sat beside me, maybe having company wouldn't be that bad,

"Talk about quitting" I roll my eyes, "man, cheer up a bit, saw those stunts you did, that was pretty cool" he complimented, a bit flattered by the comment, " y'know sometimes school is just a big damn pressure, I hate it, easy for you to say, you're literally spider-man" he then frowned. Maybe I was being a bit selfish, talking about myself only and not caring about his opinions, I'm sure he has way bigger problems than me, why am I ranting to him?

"It's this place huh? I get it, must've been hard for you to move from some place to another, living in Brooklyn isn't that easy, neither being Spiderman, everyone has their hard times in life, not to mention the big green goblin almost devouring me" he chuckled, as I did too.

"Sometimes, I miss my friends, I mean I miss them a LOT, and I'm sure you do, like being something you don't wanna be, or be somewhere you don't wanna be at, but it's a leap of faith, ya got no choice."

"That was a spider-man reference, wasn't it?" I smiled, as he nods, glancing at me, "maybe--" His sentence was cut off for a brief moment, turning his head back, his spider tingles were triggered.

"Watch out y/n!" To my surprise, I see a giant man? woman? monster? villain? came attacking, destroying the lamps, I could hardly see. All I could make of was spider-man pulling me away from the place, I searched for my phone and turned on the flash, "spider-man?" I squinted my eyes and swing my flash around, finally seeing him, it wasn't giant, it had features of a skinny, tall, and pale man, he looked like he was feasting on spider-man, seeing him pounding on him, I grabbed my skateboard and hit him right on his cranium. Causing his grip to loosen, as spider-man catches his breath heavily.

That thing, man, monster, looked right back at me, I took a few steps back and dropped on my buttocks, the monster had large and sharp teeth, a horrifying smile that could haunt you for days, "I'll make sure the amazing spider-man sees his little girlfriend suffer." his smile grew wider,

He raised his arm, his nails were long, almost looked like claws. He swung his arm to me, as I cover my face, I really thought it was going to be the end, I never got to say anything to my family... my friends... Miles... I'm dead now, am I?

"Has my suffering ended?" I whisper to myself, I blinked, blinked again, "Am I in heaven?" I say to myself, I tap every part of my body and pinched my forearm, making sure that I'm not dead yet "Y/n! Get outta here!" I hear spider-man shout, finally waking up to reality, I grabbed my skateboard and ran as quickly as I can, finally in a crowded area, until one question stroked my mind. Wait... how did he know my name?

What a crazy night, could be a lot to take in, so I met Brooklyn's one and only spider-man, almost got eaten alive and somehow spider-man, My hero, Brooklyn's hero, knows my name, I don't recall giving my name to him? have I gone insane again? Again?! Okay, don't be delusional now, just because a hero knows my name, doesn't mean he doesn't know anyone else's. I rolled my eyes dramatically and rode on my skateboard back to my dorm, passing by my house on the way, just as I was about maybe 5 blocks away from the school's entrance, I found a sketchbook on the sidewalk, I picked it up and looked through it.

I flipped through the pages and scrutinized the drawings, the drawings were nice, the pages were filled with graffiti and beautiful sketches, drawings of superheroes I can't recall of, a drawing spider-man was in it. Most were filled with a girl with blonde hair, with a side-shave and pink-ish highlights, there was drawings of her in nice clothes and a bodysuit, maybe a designer?  I thought. Then I went back to the first page to see those notes written with "Hello, my name is ______" but this time the blanked spot was in Miles name, in graffiti.

I completely had no idea he could draw this well, my heart was about to drop when I realize this girl with blonde hair was probably his crush. Maybe, his girlfriend in fact, I sigh breathlessly, when I was right on my side of the school's building, planning to maybe, climb inside, or just sneak in though it's a high chance I could get caught, then I felt a light tap on my shoulder, I turned back and see the eyes of angels, innocent, and sweet, he was wearing that usual sweater he had, the red hoodie and the blue zipped jacket, I bumped into Miles, or Miles bumped into me-- that didn't matter, the question is, what is he doing out here? I quickly put the sketchbook in my sweater.

"Uh... Miles? What are you doing here?" I smile awkwardly, "The question is, what are you doing here? don't you have an essay to work on?" he questions me back, furrowing his eyebrows as I can see wrinkles formed on his forehead.

"Oh I wanted to get some fresh air" I answer, "Weird-- cus I was just doing the same thing" then he grins, scratching the back of his head, he showed me the way in, surprised that his tactic was not visible to the guards at all, some climbing was done and to my surprise, he was incredible at it, inside the hall, behind the pillars, and crawled into the offices, which I was very uncomfortable with. I almost slipped on the windows until he grapples my arm, pulling me then I catch a breath, "Do you do this every night?" I ask while walking behind him, "Some nights when I feel like it" He answered, I followed him until he stopped, "This is your stop" he nudged his head to the right, showing my dorm,

"Thanks," I say, as I was about to enter my dorm, I remembered about the sketchbook, looking back at him hoping he's still there, he wasn't anymore, sadly. I used my keys to open the dorm and there I lay, sighing at myself, placing my cracked phone on my table and spread my arms, lying on my bed, I doze off.
